Last month, Kizer's list of favorites included Michigan State, Tennessee, North Carolina, Louisville and Kentucky, along with two other programs that hadn't yet offered -- Ohio State and Rutgers. The Spartans, he said then, are the team to beat.
"Right now, Michigan State has become sort of a leader just for the fact that I have been there quite a few times," Kizer, who has been to Lansing three times in the last year, told Rivals.com. "They really have been putting the full-court press on me. Now it is to the point where it's almost like I know everything about them."
A three-sport star at Central Catholic, Kizer's baseball team will be playing in Florida this spring and he plans to schedule a series of visits while he's in the Southeast, including Kentucky, Tennessee, Duke and North Carolina.
Now, he might have to look at altering his itinerary.
