I've never believed that Stoops was ever all-in on the Air Raid offense. Being from the upper Midwest I would think he would like to see a more balanced attack with the running game more of his preference. I have no inside information and I may be completely wrong but I believe Neal Brown was hired because of his ties to UK and the state and he was seen as a way to pump instant life into a very stagnant offense UK had with Joker. Though UK will never be "3 yards and a cloud of dust" offense and are far from the true "Air Raid" offense of Mumme , there will be more emphasis put on the run in the future. And my thoughts have nothing to do with the rushing stats against Charlotte.
