(2) Break ground on the new practice facility and market/promote the hell out of it; and

(3) Open the New Commonwealth Stadium in style - a concert after the first game featuring Kentucky talent such as Sundy Best, Sturgill Simpson, Tyler Childers, etc.

Just get to a bowl game and substantiate all of the claims of progress. Don't close out the season on a losing note. Recruits will take notice if we make a bowl game.

Winning helps everything. Mizzou has been to the SEC Championship two years in a row and just signed the #2 player in the country. Winning games does it all. When you lose the last 6 games of the season, not many kids will want to play there.

Off the field

1) Need to really promote the current crop of Wildcats in the NFL...bring them back for events and have some sort of "Fathead" display of them all...kind of like the big mural of all the basketball players that people always talk about...

recruits need to see Randall Cobb, who is about to get paid...Jacob Tamme, Danny Trevathan, Wesley Woodyard, Chris Matthews, Steve Johnson...

Bud is about to be a very high draft pick, and will be a solid player in the pros...

2) Get with Coach Cal and have him use his rolodex to get in contact with some folks...Get Drake and his crew to visit football practice and attend a game...maybe even put on a performance...

3) Get with students and create some sort of game day atmosphere...contact the Greek community, student organizations and leaders, and really get some movement going to enhance the student participation on game days...

4) enhance the "Cat Walk", it can be pretty decent at times, but there are other times when it can leave a lot to be desired...need to have that thing packed and rocking...

On the field

5) Let Patrick Towles loose...rip the ball down field...put on a show...showcase an offense that will attract players...

6) Execute on defense...stop somebody...

Hmm, I would add Black Stone Cherry onto the list of after game performers. Best rock band ever from Kentucky imo.

Thanks DA - as always I appreciate the leadership you exhibite over the important issues involving the football program. I will definitely do as you suggested, and I hope others do as well. As we know from recent history our opinions do count and change comes when the fans express their voices clearly and loudly.

I don't know if they have "officially" broken ground...

but they are clearing out that part of the blue lot and its looking like they are getting ready...so if you've always tailgated and parked over there, start thinking about setting up camp somewhere else...

I brought this up last week and I think a connected poster said they were finalizing the plans and expected to go out to bid soon with an expected start in early April.

Just Win Baby. Do that and everything will fall into place.

Some do not want to hear it, but its Bowl of Bust for this program next season. This is not 1980 where coaches got more time, no social media, etc. UK is putting too much money into the infrastructure, fans are paying higher ticket and concession prices, and frankly UK fans are tired of the same ole at KY. Its time to win some games. The staff knows it, the recruits are watching, and you can bet the mortgage that rival recruiters are in the wings like vultures hoping KY fails next season.

We all can agree that we would like to see more wins, but as fans we have very little control over that. The things I have identified above are things that we, as fans, can influence. One way is to submit these suggestions, en masse, to the BBNFirst website linked below.

I would add that the Commonwealth Stadium needs better phone/internet availability on gamedays. This is one thing that is keeping students away from games. It is frustrating for older fans also. A fan should be able to keep up with the game stats, scores, post pictures and converse with others during the 1,000 commercials ESPN shows during our games.
