GA offered among others before we did, makes no sense on a kid in our back yard from a school we have recruited hard the last few years

All of his offers have been in the last 2-3 weeks. He developed late. I don’t know how WVU found out about him first but UK was there in a couple of days. Most probably many of those offers are conditional at this point.

I assume most folks on here care about KY FB like I do and when I saw the article this morning i wondered if anyone had any new info on the situation

I give the staff a pass, they identify most kids early, the other schools jump on. Josh Allen, other schools never jumped, Mac Jones, on and on

There's so much D-line talent instate this year with Spencer, Carter,Clements not to mention Zeismer at end.

I wonder if that is why they were slow to offer Harkless

This staff gets the benefit of the doubt. I’m not throwing any shade at all when a UK staff has Kentucky positioned as the 3rd best team in the SEC. Maybe they weren’t perfect here or maybe there’s a reason. Either way, they’re damn good and I’m not worried.

This is my opinion. I understand and tentatively agree with the OPs premise, but I have all the faith in the world in this staff. Not gonna act like I have any idea whether this guy should be a priority for us or not. If UGA has offered as someone said above then I'd say giddyup!

No offense, but where would anyone get the idea that an offer on April 15 is a "late" offer? Just isn't so.
