You guys act like they are the 79 Steelers or donething, this might be the only somewhat vunerable Bama team I have seen in 20 years. They DO have some weaknesses.
But not on offense and Stoops has no idea how to win a shootout.

Is Leary hurt? I thought Stoops said after the game he got something in his eye. The game was already out of hand so they sat him. I don't see why they would need to keep Leary out.
They dont have thier usual STUD running back, in fact I think ours is better. Thier pass coverage is just average as the kid from LSU was proving until a cheap shot put him out of the game. I would Stack the box and put a spy on Milrose and force him to beat us with his arm which is just average. Im not saying we win but we are capable of being competative, IF Leary has a big game

We had a really good offense that year. You have to have a good, creative offense to beat the really good teams in the SEC.

Not really. At the end of the day all these teams have to show up and execute. Play bad on that day, play without focus and play to the level of your opponent and you can lose to anyone in this league. Arkansas just about beat bama because of this.
I wouldn’t bet money on the game but I will still watch with intrigue. I will not clutch my pearls and concede defeat a week out.
I honestly cant understand why a fan would say, why try? Apparently they have never played a sport. Any player, in any sport will go into a game with a winning mindset, if not, then why play? If Leary is ready to go, then we play the best players and give the opposing team everything we have. Win or lose, you never give in, in anything, sports, work, family, etc.

You have to have played and loved the game so much that you wanted to go against the best every chance you got, rather than only playing a game if you were playing someone 3 levels below you.
It's funny how a few people want to bich about the 3 "cupcakes" we play, but then they don't even have the heart to support a team that is playing one of the best programs in the country this week. When we were at the UT game, fans aroind us were drunk and spouting bullsht from start to finish. Mad if we didn't run the ball, mad if we didn't throw it. Saying we sucked and had no chance to win the game from.the kickoff, yet pissed when we got close at the end and had a chance to win the game or tie it but couldn't.
There's no pleasing em, so it's best just to ignore them, like the players did the first time we beat Spurrier at CWS and since.
