Just imagine it.....we all wanted to know what it would be like if Cal was here for one more year.
The roster he had at Arkansas likely wouldn't have been as good at Kentucky....similar but not as good....
Imagine the boos. Empty seats at Rupp. Nashville would've been empty this year. This forum and social media would've been unbearable with anger....
This year has just been amazing. A year with 10 losses....we're going to remember it forever. Big wins of Duke, Gonzaga, Louisville, & Tennessee. A team without stars making us proud. A team with Kentucky boys playing big roles. A team playing our toughest schedule in history. A team with so many injuries that most here would've understood if they just couldn't get it done....but they didn't stop. They've kept winning. They've kept beating big teams. And we're led by one of our own...
We went from a team that we always felt had more talent and we didn't think we got the most out of....
We now have a team of overachieving where we are in awe of how much the coach is getting out of them...
This has been FUN! And I say this....we could've been in the middle of a BAD situation if a change wasn't made...an ugly situation. We all remember where we were just one year ago...I'm so glad we're here today.
