A true freshman leads our defensive line in tackles

That is great but it's also Ox has not really taken a step this year off of where he was last year before he got hurt.

Seems like the weight loss has not benefited him
Ox not blowing up is a little disappointing. I was certain he would based off of last year. Wouldn't be suprised if he tears it up next year as we know he has it in him.

Remind me what his injury was? Torn ACL? If so he may not be back to full speed, and then he may NEVER be the same.

That looks to be the case. He thought 320 lbs was too heavy and it looks like his current 280 lbs is too light. His most effective might be somewhere close to the middle.

Ox finds life tougher without bully taking up so much attention. Amazing what a difference this year makes with rodgers really putting up a mediocre showing.

That said walker is an amazing player. Not only his ability, but technique in shedding blocks, and the ease with which he plays his responsibility. Kid is special for sure

On that note, defense is playing tons of young kids and they're playing pretty well. Good sign for next year.

Good news is that the D line has plenty of eligibility left. Unit can be a force if healthy. The injuries in the secondary and safety has not helped the unit buy a lot of talent to work with. Look for a much improved game bs Tenn or Miss State as UK picks up a win in one if those two against a ranked opponent.
