A Recurring Vision . . . .

A possibility Hack though I think Ole Miss will stack the box and leave their corners on islands and Levis is going to burn them all day.

Lol.

Yeah they're going to stack the box against a team averaging nothing on the ground

Almost as bad as talking about our "front 4" being the key

I'd be satisfied with 100 yards rushing from CRod and very few 3rd and 9 plays after 2 running plays get stuffed or having to make 3 tries from the 1-yard line to score.

I don't think CRod will get a full complement of rushes on Saturday but I expect him to get 15-18 touches. Smoke, McClain will get another 4-8 touches.

Tulsa moved the ball quite well against Ole Miss' defense. I would expect us to be able to do so as well. I'll be very disappointed if we struggle to move the ball.

Our defense needs to come out of the locker room ready to play and not let Ole Miss score a TD in a 5-play drive. So tired of being down a TD early in the game. Can't do that against everyone or it will bite us in the ass at some point.

I keep seeing C-Rod taking a toss sweep around the right end to the house in Oxford!

A portent?

A dream?

A case of indigestion affecting consciousness?
What we’re you eating before you had this vision? A tossed salad with house dressing perhaps?

Oddly enough, Soupbean, I had soup beans for lunch, with a touch of baking powder, hence no gaseous releases.

Their defense can take advantage of something our Oline has been really bad at all year so far. We fail to keep engaged with the block. Their smaller, faster line can swarm the tackle if we fail to keep them locked up. We have failed consistently at that in EVERY game so far.

Van Hiles went back and watched some film on Ole Miss . IF they continue to play the 3-2-6 defense they’ve been playing, he says their 3 down lineman appear to be “ light in the ass” and they use corners to set the edge. He says if we can’t run on this team we won’t be able to run on anybody. So your vision may come true . FWIW Van says 34-17 Kentucky.

Gonna let the “light in the ass” comment go, for now. Wait……….

My goodness, I thought I saw some cursed UK football teams. The 1988 team looked like it could be undefeated! Glad I was not alive to witness all those one-score games that were lost (besides Indianer). That’s the best 5-6 team of all-time.

I knew I called it moonshine for a reason. Hence “light in the”, ahh, never mind. I was just fun in’.

Stacked boxes and blitzers filling interior lanes is why our running game has been anemic, and part of multiple 300 yard passing games.

Which poison will Ole Miss pick?
You noticed something those bitching about our rushing attack ignore. The box has been stacked against the rushing game. On Robinson's long TD pass and run, both NIU safeties were about four yards from LOS.

I’ll be interested to see if Ole Miss continues to play the 3-2-6 defense they’ve been using in this game.

I probably have 20 quarts in my pantry . Apple pie, Blackberry, Peach, just plain white dog . I don’t even know what else, lol .
You’re reluctance is admirable. I’ve only got one half pint jar of blackberry jam to get me through the winter. A seed per day.

I like it. In the summer of 2018, I literally had a dream that we beat Florida in the swamp. Several months later..:….😀

Hell, we have code names built into the process! You be Yoshukai, and I’ll be The Hack, and meet at any Wal Mart parking lot!!

Their 3 down linemen are smaller than ours. DE's are in the 265 lb range. DTs are 295 to 335 that have played much.
