One of the turdgang members was telling me UL was the most profitable sports team in college ... is that true? If it is, how the hell is that true?

It's true. It's all in how you cook the books and what you report.

yeah it's true - was reported as such on basketball financial reports

the how is the real story - I think their profit margin is directly related to how much the Yum center is in the red

Alcohol sales don't have that much to do with it. Another thing that helps their bottom line is they receive money from the school rather than give money to the school as the Cats do.

the figures are phony..Turtleneck uses the amount of money the YUM Center loses to adjust their profits..Nobody really believes that horsecrap...

Yes..first-alcohol. Second- most respectable places of higher learning don't boast about profits..it looks bad, because they aren't businesses, they are schools. Do when other schools reap massive profits they invest it or spend it for things on campus to make profits look smaller. Not uofl tho, tony soprano runs the joint...and their loser fans don't care.

When the new president takes over for a man who lost his job partly over issues within the sports program then he will also say good bye to those that were responsible for the issues.

Just like Looserville self imposing sanctions on their sports program to lessen their future sanctions the new president will have no choice but to get rid of Pitino and Jurich to show that his university will not condone that type of conduct in the future. The new presidents career and future will depend on his actions.

I also find it hilarious that UK is so "racist" yet if my memory serves me correct, doesn't the UL campus have the largest confederate monument in the state? :joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy:

Simple: the criminal deal they have for the crumb bucket. In essence, they are paying themselves to play there at the expense of the taxpayers while the facility spirals further and further into financial ruin. Like I said...criminal.
