I think we all agree that the way Wolford handled his departure was classless and sais a lot about him. Good riddance
Look at John Sumrall, how he handled leaving. That is the kind of man you would want your kid to play for.
I am praying Liam Coen stays. He did a great job this year. Stoops hit a home run when he hired him. Coen is a rising star in the business no doubt. If any of us have a chance to better ourselves or our families we do it. Thats how the world works.
Here is my question. I'm assuming since he has been here I'm sure here Liam has been looking recruits in the eye and selling KY, himself etc. I am sure many if not most of the highly ranked skill kids we signed are coming here because of him. It has been reported that Levis waited to make his decision to stay until he knew what Coen would do. If Coen leaves, is he now obligated to contact every one of those recruits and explain why he is leaving etc ? I know this is how the coaching business works, coaches move all the time. I just hope we can hold on to him for atlest one more year.

I hope he takes a page out of Coach Marrows book. When he had the job offer to Michigan State, he said in the end he did not want to break his promise to all the recruits who he told he would be staying here. At the least I think he should feel a little bit of a moral obligation to stay for Levis' last year. However in the end football is a business, we all know that.

A spot on an NFL staff is hard to turn down unfortunately. Unless he enjoys the college game better of course

Coach Marrow is loyal to CMS, he has proven that more than once. Plus he isn't a young guy looking to be a head coach down the road. He is the rock on UK's staff. It's great to have a guy like that on your staff. Sam Pittman was supposedly that guy on Kirby's staff, had said it was his last job. But Arkansas called, gave a 59 year old coach his first opportunity to be a P5 head coach. He ran with it, who could blame him, great OL coach and looking to be a pretty good head coach. So never say never because an opportunity of a lifetime could knock on the door and you have to take it.

Now The OC wants to be a head coach it seems, you guy, ambitious, and always has his name popping up. He has a bright future too.
