A. Hagans - NBA

Hope he shows out. I know things didn't end the best with Ashton at the end of the 2020 year, but was always a fan of his, especially on the defensive side.

Have great memories of Ashton owning UNC, and in particular Coby White. Didn't Hagans have Iike 7 or 8 stls that game?! Fun stuff to watch.

That game will always be memorable for that reason. I was not confident we would beat UNC, and Hagans came out like a pure menace on that side of the ball.

Freshman year Hagans was loved when he came in and took Quade’s starting job, by being a hellish on defense and getting to the rim and finishing on offense. Was absolutely a key player in getting us to the Elite 8 that year. The problem was that his Soph year he hadn’t improved on his deficiencies and teams knew how to gameplan him, so he also became less effective. By the end of the year, it was pretty obvious he was the 3rd best guard and the team would go further with the ball in the hands of Maxey and Quickley. Sucks we didn’t get to see that play out. That was an E8/FF squad.

Surprised to see he got 27 minutes in his 1st game. Went 2-7 and had 3 assists. Hopefully he played great defense.

No doubt in my mind plus Richards was playing as well as any big man.

Agree for the most part but he was absolutely miserable in that elite eight game and was the primary reason we lost. We should’ve been playing quickley over him in that game.

I personally like Ashton and hope he does well, but the Blazers tanked in that game. Gave up a huge lead to the woeful Pistons.

Yeah. Hagans was a disaster in that game. Disaster.
