A day to be grateful

I don't think anyone quite knows what to expect tomorrow. I imagine even the coaches are nervous and not quite sure what all is going down.

But I would like to take a moment just to express my thanks to several:

First to coach Stoops and staff for taking on our program and bringing it up to where it is now, for sticking in there and fighting against all the negative vibrations that attend our situation.

Second to the administrators and posters on this board. I have learned a lot from most of you. I never really followed the recruiting process much until I got on this board, and I have learned a lot, even from the negative posts.

Third to the posters here from other programs who have come on here and shown respect for us...posters such as grumpyolddawg who seem to understand the frustration we feel and rather than pushing us down farther are willing to share sympathetically even though they represent our competition.

Tomorrow could prove to be a very good day for us; maybe it will be a disappointing day; and most likely it will be somewhere in the middle. But anyway it turns out, today and everyday, I am happy to be a UK fan in a foreign and hostile land, and I have found a friendly home on this board. Thank you.

Some people are already sure they know what to expect tomorrow. We will see in the next couple days if they are posting from actual knowledge or not.

Well spoken, dyersburg, lots of UK fans around Jackson, Tn, where I've lived nearly 40 years.
