Who does this favor? We have a dynamic offense, while USCjr's offense seems very 1 dimensional (run).

it seems the rain would favor them as its tougher to pass in the rain

I don't know. I mean if it's raining teams tend to run more because it's tougher to see and catch the ball along with throwing it. UK has some great running backs but our run defense is highly suspect.

In sloppy weather, I honestly think our size up front (our offensive line outweighs their defensive line by an average of ~28 pounds), and the 3 of our very, very good backs (plus a lot of good blockers on the perimeter) could allow us to win. We've seen what our run defense can do when we focus on the run (showed it against Louisville to end the season). I think we're preparing for a running team, because USC looked wildly unimpressive passing the ball last week.
Would definitely allow us to play straight up man-to-man and stack the box on defense (I would still like to double on Cooper with Stamps, regardless). I've seen a lot of South Carolina fans complaining about only putting decent blocking receivers out, and not really any good catching receivers (outside of Cooper).
It should also be noted that we do have an advantage in the A gap on defense because of their center's tremendous lack of size (he weighs 270#).
Melvin Lewis weighs 330#, Matt Elam weighs 360#. That's big for us when it comes to stopping the run.
