Agree 100%! Most of the empty seats were where the students sit. That end of the stadium was almost completely empty by the 4th quarter. Judging by my walk back to the car after the game, it appears that most students had left early to get their party on.The students left... If they don't come to the game or stay they need to take the damn seats away from them!!!
For the students to delay their partying another one hour and fifteen minutes should not be a big deal. They should stay and support the team or let their tickets go to fans that will. If we want to be a winning program we need to look like it matters to recruits and their families. Students or fans leaving early could potentially send the wrong message.Students left early. Soooo freaking what? Did UK win? End of story.

I think 20k left at halftime.
I can see if you're trying to poo poo on the attendance and the sell out you have to reach for something desperate. It did look bad when they showed the crowd towards the end of the game. The commentators even commented how bare the crowd looked.
UL fans could have handle their liquor.I think it was the other way around. A lot of those students were around at 2:00 in the afternoon and obviously haven't learned when you drink a lot in 90 degree heat, you aren't going to be around at 9:00 p.m

Then we would have 20k empty seats at the beginning of the game and 15 years from now we'd be lucky to get 35k into the stadium. The students left... If they don't come to the game or stay they need to take the damn seats away from them!!!
There's no way in hell were scheduling anyone tougher than ULL as our 2nd toughest ooc game, so whatever you're implying is moot.folks...hard truth of the matter is that ULL has no appeal what so ever...
if the UKAD wants to start seeing full crowds through the entire game, then they're going to have to give said crowds a reason to stay...
ULL, Charlotte, Kent st, EKU, WKU, Central Michigan, etc....are not appealing enough...not when you can stay at home, save money, avoid fighting traffic n crowds, and watch a half dozen games on the big screen HD...
Bama can host Boogerville and keep the stadium full...but they've earned that ability...much like us in basketball...where folks will camp for three days to watch a 20 minute shoot around...
Established programs don't need to offer any extra incentive...because folks will pay just to see those teams sit around and pick their nose...
but when it comes to UK football...it's going to take more than Louisiana Lafayette...
