FB Recruiting 5-star PG Darius Garland on UK, KU, Duke & Vandy

What I got from that article is that he doesn't like Cal. Lol He said about the other 3 schools that he liked their respective coach but not when he talked about KY. Lol J/K

He is the best pg in the class....loves Drew attends all Vandy home games....if he leaves Nashville most believe it will be Duke....UK has entered the race late like Poythress....that turned out ok..

Wouldn't you have the best laugh if he committed to duke and then K retired...

I work with his teammates' mom. I'll see if she has any insight tomorrow.

You might as well just erase this thread and proclaim Duke the winner. Anytime a good player shos up on radar, Duke is the automatic winner even though we out recruit them more often than not. you people slay me. You change like the wind.

I think most who have been following might simply feel better about UK's chances with Javonte Smart and Immanuel Quickley at point guard.

UK lands:

Smart
another guard
Williamson
O'Neal
Bagley

UK returns:

Green
Alexander
Baker (assuming we land him)
Washington
Wynyard
SKJ (assuming he stays with the program)

Not sure about getting Smart or Quickley if Green is back. I guess Cal can make them work together. He has played two PGs together before.

I guess that team would look something like this, if you start the best five:

Starters

G Green
G Smart
F Williamson
F Washington
F Bagley

Key Reserves

G Alexander
G Baker
F O'Neal
F Killeya-Jones (or Wynyard)

No true 5's really in the bunch, but Cal could make it work.

I would like to see Richards back with that lineup.
