who cannot shoot at all. Its obvious the wrong players on this team are playing. The scheme is non existent. Horrible on offense and terrible on defense. There is no way Briscoe should have minutes on this team.

I've said this on other threads. UK starts 3 guys that are not threats from outside 10 feet....Poythress, Lee and Briscoe. Good luck trying to beat decent teams consistently with that lineup.

That is correct. They are also small, and exceeding weak when paired with Skal. They should go bigger. Ulis, Murray, Willis, Poy, Lee. Mulder should spell the 2&3. Hawkins should spell Ulis. Foul trouble on the bigs should be spelled by Humphries as bad as he looked tonight and potentially Skal. Briscoe should not play. Skal should get 3-5 minutes. This of course if one is trying to win. I would not hesitate to sit Murray if he continues to play matador defense and not block out and play Mulder in his place.

Briscoe's draft stock was another example of the "oh, he's going to play for Cal, and he's ranked high, so he'll be ready by March and be a OAD."

Outside of decent defense, what would Briscoe offer an NBA team? Seriously, can anyone answer that question at this point?

I don't see it happening at this time. Some are saying it's a stronger draft next year. I'm saying that's irrelevant because it might be three years before this kid develops enough offense to have a shot at making an NBA roster. I love the kid and love his fight, but you have to be able to hit a shot in the NBA, especially if you're a guard.

Nah. Haven't posted since I was banned in 2006 for calling out BillyG when he was starting Mark Coury and Micheal Porter.
