After seeing the Cats make a valiant come back attempt in the second half yesterday, I think a light may have switched on. I believe we will see the boys come out with that same intensity against ul next Saturday. After all, the biggest problem we had yesterday was Ohio making everything they threw at the basket and us not being able to score, even on dunks at times. If we had been making our shots and they had been missing theirs, we would have won.

With the UL game looming, a comeback they couldn't finish out may turn out to be a better motivator for Cal than rallying to win by 1-2 points.

Not that I don't love the enthusiasm. But highly doubtful. Even if they were to run the table in the SEC and the UofL game. That Kansas game will be rough.

I agree. As many have stated on here, many times, losses are good for teaching purposes and getting the team focused. I don't see how we were supposed to lose 6-10 games this year if don't drop a few along the way.

32-2??? LOLOL
We definitely have the craziest fans in the country. I love ya, but some of you have ZERO perspective.

Better check your perspective, buddy. You've got us missing the tournament with a 32-2 record. Are we gonna just quit?

Everyone was saying we'd lose 6-8 games before the season and now that we're on pace to do that the same people are giving up on our team, it's sad how stupid some people here are.

Quit? No reason to jump to conclusions, but if you think we're not going to lose again, I'd pay money to be your bookie. You remind me of the SNL skit about "da bears".
Cats just aren't great this year. We'll live.

Just look at how many losses other UK teams had and still won a championship. And frankly, it does not matter what our record is as long as we are in the running for the tourney. Then its a clean slate and whoever wants it the most wins the trophy.

We will lose at least 8 games. We will probably barely make the final four and then lose in the final four or championship game because of three point shooting or free throw shooting or lack of post presence or because coach Cal decides to play stall ball in the last 5 minutes of the game with a six point lead.

Guys op is a funny guy. Check the paddock he's probably already back there slapping high fives over the fact that his ruse has deceived the majority of you

I understand your pain, friend. Unfortunately, we cannot go back to the glory days of Tubby or BCG when we never lost games to teams we considered to be our lesser. We're all going to have to weather this Cal experiment for the time being, what with his massive buyout and all.
