I think it's a little of both. Baylors offense is for real, but not sure they can stop a drip

I can remember when you had to take SMU very seriously. Until the NCAA sent them to the gallows. To be honest any team that is D1 and located in the states of Florida, California or Texas has ZERO excuse for not fielding a formidable squad yearly.

SMU, I believe, raised their standards on who is eligible to play there. I would think that many of the Baylor/Texas/TCU/A&M kids wouldn't qualify to play at SMU. The NCAA is reluctant to drop another death penalty on anyone else, because of its effects it had on SMU. SMU was a national power before then. UNC**** might be eligible for a death penalty. SMU would struggle with Vandy.
