Insane how much talent on the offensive line is in the state right now. Drake Jackson, Landon Young, and Jedrick Wills all participating today to increase their rankings. Very possible that UK gets 3-4 linemen with at least a 4 star ranking over the next couple of years. That will be huge for us.

Best part is that all 3 are within 15 or so minutes from campus, saw that Jedrick Willis is a 5.9 4-star which means he will probably be in the top 100 when Rivals releases their initial 2017 rankings.

Need to keep these guys home to play for UK. That would be a fun line with Young at LT, Willis at LG, and Jackson at C.

Willis is an absolute beast on film, been a long time since I have seen someone so young dominate in such a downright scary fashion. Have to keep players like this.

Being greedy, wish there were 3-4 Dlineman in the state of that caliber as well.

Landon Young has grown some more. Measured up at 6'6.5, 298# today at the five star challenge, and he's still showing a lot of athleticism, even more power. Doing very well against very good competition.

That is what I like to hear. I want him making blocks with bad intentions. Where the poor defender doesn't want to come around again. With the guys already in the fold redshirting, and the incoming players. The OL will be a strength in a couple of years.

What were the measurements of Jackson and Willis?

has good pad level and excellent take off. He shows he can block and maintain second level defenders in space. He drives and 'finishes" blocks.

He is off balance and reaching on pass sets. That will come with more repetitions. He is an excellent prospect at 15 years old.

One thing Stoops cannot complain about is the unusual amount of top level in-state talent in Ky since he's arrived.

I would think that the three being from the same area and going to camps together would make them want to play together and be part of an unbelievable OL in a few years, with some excellent skill players to block for. I am thinking that our OL this year will show enough improvement (along with the skill players) to show them that they can reach their goals and be very successful at UK.

If he were 17 going on 18 he is still one of the fastest off the ball, and his initial engagement is quick and violent. Pass blocking is more technique and lateral quickness that will come when he better realizes what his body can do.

I have seen many, he is deserving of his rankng.
