3-4 more wins.

If we are going to have one God awful game at all 3 phases let it be tonight. We have much to work on.

Good news is Auburn won't have too much to scout..

We have a shot at 7 more wins. I wouldn't bet the rent on it, but who on our schedule inspires heavy fear? UT is about to implode and could come in with a 2-5 record. MSU is solid, but not spectacular. We know about Auburn's issues. UL is still not that great, but who knows by that time of year. Georgia is talented as hell, but Richt always throws in a few clunkers every year. I'm not writing off our chances in any game remaining

I agree. Auburn is beatable and they were taken to OT by their FCS too. Mississippi State can be beaten but it may take UK's best game of the year. Of course Vanderbilt and Charlotte are more than winnable and won't even take our team's best game to beat them. Louisville is a winnable game as well. Georgia and Tennessee may be out of reach. So six to seven wins in the regular season is what uk should end up with, probably closer to seven than six.

I agree with this, I'd be pumped with 7-5. That would be a very good season, and 1 more win than I thought in the pre-season. I think if things 100% break UK's way maybe they could win 8 in the regular season, but gotta have more consistency.

I'm not sure anybody here can point to a real reason why we can't come out with a win in any of our games left. Now, am I saying we win out? Absolutely not. I'm saying we have an opportunity, especially in today's football.
If I told you all that we were going to have a 1 possession game with Florida and hold them to their season low, and they would go on to beat #3 Ole Miss 38-10, would anybody have believed me? Surely not. Probably wouldn't have believed myself. That's just football today. We have the team, they just need to stay focused, and there's no reason that they can't potentially win any game that they're in for the remainder of the season.

I disagree that Tennessee is out of reach. Maybe Butch Jones gets them turned around but right now that team is reeling. Plus we have them at home. Like other posters have said, I am optimistic about all of our games, except Georgia and maybe Miss. State.

We have several winnable games left on the schedule. We have to come to play in the games we should win,we didn't do that last night but won in spite of ourselves.

Auburn may figure out how to play before the season is over,I hope it takes longer than 2 weeks.UT will be in the same shape they were last year(playing for their lives) when they get here,I hope we are better than we were then.

Did we (team) learn anything last night? That question remains to be answered and I think 'yes' is 50/50 proposition at best.

As someone else said in another thread"we aren't there yet" but we sure should be farther down the road than what we saw last night.Yes I know we won and no one is happier than I,but it should not have been that hard.

I think UT has some internal issues and may implode by the time we play them.
