If he was gone he would already be gone. I think the meeting will keep him here. He wants UK to match or exceed the Michigan offer.

If indeed it boils down to money, with all the millions of dollars we have invested into this program to become competitive in the SEC, it would seem beyond the realm of possibility that they would not pony up the cash to keep the guy who is supplying the life blood to the program.

If it's about the money then I feel pretty good, if it's about something else, then I worry.

IMHO, it won't be about the money that keeps Vince at UK. It will be about loyalty, relationships, and commitment to a head coach, University and student-athletes in continuing what has been started and promised.

The foundation has been laid and Vince has been a big part of tha process. IMO, he is committed to UK in continuing to do what he's been so vocal about these past 24 months---to take this program to be right there in themix of the top of the SEC.

Go get 'em Vince, there's much work to be done---big things happening at Kentucky!

@BillBankGreene: Coach Marrow facing tough decision between Michigan n Kentucky. Decision could come 24-36 hours. Gut says he stays a Cat.#BBN #GoBlue

Very well done.

Isn't the core of the pitch they've been using, "come to UK and be a hero/legend"? Well, coach, no one is going to know who Harbaugh's assistants are.
So, "stay at UK and become a hero/legend!"

I think its about money , and the opportunity to coach for a "NFL Guy" in Harbaugh... Also to maybe pad his resume a bit more for a better opportunity down the line. Michigan is a "blue blood" and would look "better" (according to some )

His twitter account just followed michigans top te prospect.
Maybe Vince is thinking how he can flip him to Kentucky.

^Poe, thought about that too. However, that he apparently isn't following UK's '16s is alarming.

Why would you bother posting that, everyone knew what you thought before you aggravated us by putting it on here. LOL

I don't think he is talking to Michigan recruits. I think he stays at UK.

I'd bet he picks Michigan. Have no faith in Barnhardts ability to keep guys around.

If he is I would think he would have already announced it. I am sure he doesn't want to leave Coach Stoops on a bad note and be working for Michigan without finalizing things with Kentucky first. If he does want to meet with the administration first than you have to think he wants to give them the opportunity to match his offer. If so, that likely means he wants to stay, but only if he is sure that we are truly dedicated to taking the next step and will pay more money to get there.

If he leaves then Stoops needs to check all his cell calls, lock him out of campus and have his sh!t sent to him and make sure he has not been in contact with any existing or future recruits. Cut him off at the knees!!!!!!!!

Think they can still have limited contact, but not person to person.
Wrong. The recruit can call the coaches but not reverse.

Kind of a bummer on here for you lately. UofL barely beat UK, UofL and your boy Petrino get blasted in their bowl and now Vince Marrow stays.

No matter how many times you're wrong though, I'm sure you'll be back here with the same ol garbage anyway. All you'll do is post anti-UK nonsense and hope at some point some of it sticks. Carry on...
