#25 Baylor Slight Favorite Hosting #16 Vandy at 8 on ESPNU

It'll be a good test for Vandy. If they win, I could see them moving into the top 10 in the near future.

Vandy has a nice team! Stallings is a very good coach, whether you like him or not.

After time outs he is money...good shot every time...recruits and develops personell

Develops? Funny how it works out when dudes consistently stay 4 years in your program, they do get better. Self has that same unwarranted praise, a developer of talent ...

i could never warm up to stallings after he was given sec coy in '10, even though cal in his first year finished first in the conf with 2 regular season losses enroute to the E8.

What the hell kind of end was that from Vandy? I guess Stallings doesnt get a big bonus if he beats a ranked baylor team like he does if he beats a UK team. Because I guarantee you he calls a time out at the end of a UK game in a situation like that.

Not only that, but he bitches about every call against his team.

As much as I think the B-12 is overrated every year, they do own the SEC.

But who is responsible for scheduling those games? Only two teams have played back to back home games in the 3 yr history of the series. Iowa State and Kansas. Shocker.

No need necessarily to call time out...defense would get to set up that way....played it right...got 2 ok shots at basket just didnt fall.
But wasnt bad coaching to not call time out imo
Only thing is stallings is one of best at drawing up something good so if he called it you couldnt really fault him, but normally play it out without time out imo

They blow a 9 pt lead against Kansas and a 12 pt lead against Baylor. The SEC never fails to disappoint.

You cant get on Vandy for either one of those losses...teams dont go undefeated...Vandy is solid and so is this league...Sputh Carolina also very good

Vandy is still very good. And it will be a dog fight between them and us for the 1 and 2 spots in the SEC.

South Carolina has been a very pleasant surprise. Normally by now they would have dropped 2 or 3 games to the likes of the Citadel or USC Upstate or some teams like that. They have an impressive win over Tulsa on a neutral site. I think they can go 13-0 headed into SEC play and be in play for the 4th SEC bid behind UK, Vandy, and aTm. Looks like a nice season for Crazy Eyes Martin.

I think Vandy will be a solid team, too bad they couldn't at least pick up one W over either KU or Baylor. That would've gone a long way in their seeding. I just looked at their schedule and they do have a home game vs Dayton, and another away game at Purdue. If they pick up those two wins, and take care of the cupcakes they could be a legit top 15 team come league play.
