I've told this Higgs story before, probably more than once, but I'll tell it again. My favorite.

We played Uga a night game in October as was standard every other year in those days to avoid Keeneland conflict and with very little TV game time control then. Cool with plenty of dew on the real grass. We then had seats in the east EZ grandstands, to north of goalpost about 15 rows up.

We were on about our 40 coming towards us. Handoff to Higgs going left - our side. He turned up field on a dime as I recall no one else could. That caused both the Uga LB & S to attempt to stop going sideways & both slipped and slid out of bounds on their butts. Funny enough. I jumped out of my skin at the move & Uga players. Higgs then angled for the EZ corner and beat the other Uga DB's. In my top 2-3 all-time runs.
