I figure since this season is basically a wash with having the starting SF and backup PG done for the year and with the starting PG not being able to finish with his left arm anymore apparently since he’s wearing a football pad on that side…
I figure I’d homer this shit up and try and get excited for next season. I see more athleticism and skill heading to Kentucky in the freshman class. These dudes can finish and score. There’s also assist highlights I won’t link but they’re impressive too.
Hopefully next season Pope has more ingredients to cook with than just salt and pepper.
Sure, salt and pepper on a nice cowboy ribeye is nice but goddamit when ya toss some butter and garlic and thyme in that bitch and baste the shit out of it it’s just better ya know.
Caramelize that fat and crisp it up holy shit son. Come at me. Cast iron. No other way.
Pope this year was just cookin with salt and pepper. Hopefully year 2 and 3 brings the butter and garlic and thyme and other shit I ain’t ever heard of. Maybe some paprika if you’re a pussy and can’t handle real spice. I hope Kentucky basketball spice level is at cayenne or beyond and these dudes make it happen.
And maybe they can play some defense.
