9/3: Miami-Ohio

11/19: Georgia

11/26: Louisville

8 home games this fall. Assuming we win 7 of them (counting Georgia as the likely loss), then get 2 of the 4 road games, most likely at Florida (who looks to be way down next year) and Missouri, looking at another possible 9-10 win season. At this point i'd think at Ole Miss and at Tennessee will be the likely road losses.

Forgot about weird Covid SEC-only schedule. Didn’t think we’d see Ole Miss again so soon. Shoutout to Chance Poore and a great effort on PAT.

10-0 heading into Georgia game is a distinct possibility. Good teams in the early OOC will help us get ready for most of the SEC.

If we have CRod and DRosenthal back, avoid major injuries, and can add some more quality in the next 5 months, we might set a new standard for total wins.

Zach Evans, who was TCU's first-ever 5-star recruit, is heading to Ole Miss. Should be a good game.
Evans RB
Watkins WR
Supposedly involed with the Good Counsel QB from (NAIA I Think)

They should be potent on offense again. They did lose Lebby to OU though.

I think I may have to lose my Oxford, MS virginity. Gonna get to plannin’. Might die but the way the woman drives, we’ll be there in 4.5 hours instead of seven.

The schedule is pretty good, from my standpoint.

It's odd, b/c some games that usually feel like sure losses (UF in gainesville) seem more than winnable. In another thread, i wondered if we might even be FAVORED?!

I feel good about 4-0 OOC (tho look out for N. Illinois), Vandy. South carolina will be tougher, but we always play them well at home. Miss state at home is usually a win while on the road is always a loss.

I will never predict wins in knoxville but they have a lot of holes to fill. I would hope we could figure out how to play a little D aaginst that offense next year.

Important to start 4-0, and then win the october home games. Win in oxford and a BIG season is in play. Even with a loss, 8-4 or 9-3 more than in play.

That's an awful schedule from opponents to design.

First off...we're tapped out in Ohio...the recruiting foothold that's been established there is fine and we don't have much more to prove, don't need any more Ohio exposure...don't need to play Youngstown and Miami O

Would just as soon play a Texas team to tap into those recruiting circles...or if CMS is hell-bent on riding and dying with mid-west/big 10 territories let's play IU or Iowa...better yet let's graduate to the big boys in Ohio if we're going to keep sticking around and dipping toes in that state...let's go to the deep end and do a cannonball off the diving board like the cool older kids ...

Second, there's not a home game worth seeing until SC...

Those first 3 snoozers won't sniff selling out and it's not a guarantee that SC can fill the stadium. So we're looking at being halfway done with the season before the team sees a packed and raucous home game? Can't have that. This is big boy football, you need to be kicking off the home schedule, packing the stands, and getting the fanbase buzzing. That's where the OOC comes in, on the years where your first couple SEC games are going to be on the road, you need a headliner OOC coming into town.

Can’t believe after Monday, there is no college football for 8+ months. College basketball will be over in the blink of an eye and before you know it, I’ll be boring myself to sleep with MLB on TV.

Jordan Wright news makes me more sure in 10-2

From what I see the 2022 Ole Miss team is much less talented than 2021, and ALOT less talented than the 2020 version who beat us by 1 in OT off a shanked Xtra pt.

What's the difficulty ranking? Mine:
Georgia
Ole Miss
Tenn
Miss St
S Carolina
Florida
UL
Mizzou
Vandy
3 other OOC

Glad we got Florida early in the year with all the turnover and coaching change they have had.
Ole Miss is going to be tough with them landing that 5 star RB transfer. Don't know if they are going to bring in another QB transfer or not. I'd see some promising QB's who would want to play for him in that system though.
Mizzou we should handle and UT is gonna be a dog fight because we usually play like shit against them.
