Benny Snell is a running back out of Westerville Central High School. Kentucky is his first offer, and is pursuing him now. The 2016 recruits are actively recruiting Snell to Kentucky now.
I watched the kid's highlights, and I'm thoroughly impressed. He isn't very known at the moment, but in his junior season, in 13 games played, he carried the ball 295 times for 2077 yards, and 26 TD's.
Westerville Central High School is the 23rd best high school football team in the state of Ohio, on all levels.
I'll leave the link to the hudl profile below. Check him out, see what you think about his on-field performance.

I'll also leave the link to his Twitter account. The 2016 recruiting class has asked us to show him some love on social media, and if they're willing to do as much as they're doing now for our recruiting, and will do for us on the field next season, the least we can do is show fan support to Kentucky recruits and targets.

Good Lord, that kids good.

I'll tell ya who I thought of when I was watching this. Marshawn Lynch. This kid just doesnt go down, hes always running through multiple tackles on his way to the endzone.

I'll go give him some love on twitter, sure hope we can land him.

The kid is stout, surprised me with his cuts as well, despite being a power runner. Definitely the kind of back we need.
I hope many more fans jump on board, this kid would be a steal.

6 foot 210#'s as a Jr

OMG he is incredibly athletic, fast with an extra gear and bulldozes.

he can take a corner very well, has great hands, has great field vision and so-on.

He's not too bad on defense either. Looks like he could easily carry another 10-15 #'s of muscle and be a absolute beast running through defenses.

I also noticed that a lot of those fields look like turf, is that normal in some high schools?

He seems to be enjoying all the love he is getting on twitter from UK fans.

It looks that way. Hope we keep at it. This would be a great pickup for our backfield.

I was sold after that first run on Hudl. Wowza, that was impressive. Also, Westerville Central was ranked 3rd in Ohio's largest division right behind the team who won the championship (St. Edward), so they are playing pretty good competition.

I seen one of his YouTube highlights as well, kid juked, spun out, and ran over a few people all in one play on a few different clips. I came away very, very impressed. To have a balanced back who will likely grow to be around 6'1, 225 before college is extremely impressive. His size, speed, power, and elusiveness is very nice to see.

He has good speed but didn't run away from everybody, but boy is he a bull in a china closet to bring down.

For all of those people who think this class is going to be good, you are wrong, it will be even better than that.

Really glad to see the 2016 class twitter account/leadership cranking up like the 2014 one did. Might seem an insignificant thing, but the lack of that for '15 played a part in what happened in january. No clear leader or leaders of the class who kept everyone arm & arm together, bonded as friends first so that everyone wanted to show up on campus to go to battle together.

KapitalCat we are off to a good start for 2016 as it stands right now. I would like to mention Z. Hughes from McCracken Co Central. I have watched Z play the last three years. This kid is a real athlete with good speed, multiple position player. He has the ability to dance ( exceptional quick foot work) and if he turns the corner he is gone.
I believe this young man is underrated and believe he will have an exceptional fall season. This young man has what it takes and he's a winner!

You guys seeing what happens when fans show support? Recruits eat that up, and he's loving the attention. We're seeing more news about him and the possibility of him ending up at UK, he's been retweeting his thumbs off because if UK fans, and things are looking better and better by the hour.
It's a great way for fans to help the 2016 recruits, the coaches, and ultimately the program.
Definitely something we need to try to do whenever the 2016 recruits tell us to show a player some love on twitter.

Have seen a lot of activity from Kayaune Ross on Twitter. Sending tweets to current commits with words of encouragement, etc. Griffin is one he has contacted. Think Griffin may stick the closer he and the rest of the 16 class get. Maybe one of those who may have decomitted if in the 15 class.

Really like Ross's attitude. Really is excited about playing for UK in the future.

Ross has turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. Great pickup on and off the field.

PPPPFFEEEWWW that dude will cure the Damien Harris woes real real quick!! What a beast and I bet all the big time programs will be in on him.

I am going to go watch him play this year get all decked out in UK gear!! Can't wait!!

Day 3, and it looks like both he, and the fans are very engaged on social media. That's an awesome sign. Kid just gets an offer from Cincinnati, he retweets one or two things announcing such, and he goes back to retweeting things that fans and current UK players have posted up on twitter.
Looking like we could get a helluva steal with this kid.

Reminds me of all the bowling ball backs that have sliced up our defense in recent years. Not the fastest guys, but give them a cut, hole, or less than 2 tacklers, and they can drag some folks 10 yards. I like it.

Agreed. He's already very stout, and not even a senior yet. He'll be a big back by the time he would get here, and his agility is very impressive. Great balance.

I encourage everybody to keep showing these kids some love for the BBN! It already paid off for us in getting Tobias Gilliam, so let's keep it rolling!
Let's get some people on Benny Snell's twitter page and let's remind him again who the best fan base in America is!

Any more news on him? Want this Kid bad great leg strength and explosiveness. Kind of reminds me of a Ricky Williams smaller version.

i love that he doesn't go out of bounds. he runs the sideline and gets hit from field side by 2 defenders and not only doesn't go down but doesn't go out of bounds. very stout legs and good balance for that. would love to see a legitimate 40 time on him cause if its anywhere near 4.5 (or less than 4.6) i'd take this kid in a heartbeat.

A legit 4.6 by the type back described would be just fine. The great Cowboy RB out of Florida only ran a 4.6 legit.
