Getting Diamond Stone in late first round would be a steal.

This list seems right, but didn't see Briscoe on here...i'd put him top 25.

I hope some of the ignorant people on this board pay attention to players from 15 down..it's a sh*t show...you can see why Skal will leave and why he will go lottery. There aren't any great, can't-miss prospects in the late first round and beyond. Teams picking around 12 or so would for sure take him and hope he reaches the upside.

Stone will go top 10. Also, look for more Euro guys to go earlier than normal after the year Porzingis is having and the fact they can be stashed without counting on the cap. This happened after Nowitzki emerged.

I just can't fathom how anybody watching this season could possibly think Skal should be drafted ahead of a WHOLE BUNCH of guys listed under him.

Yes, I do understand the whole "but the NBA drafts on potential" line of rhetoric, but don't even see the potential in Skal to justify anything near that kind of ranking. Why would anyone expend a lottery type pick on a 20 year old big man who can't rebound at all, can't defend, has no post game, and can't play inside? I'm just plain bewildered by it.

monte morris seems awfully low. he's 6'3, and 20 spots lower than ulis

diamond stone has six assists and isn't athletic

And seeing Briscoe not listed makes you what?
Sad, admittedly

Briscoe wasn't supposed to be the answer to everything like some thought Newman would be though. As roller-coasterish as this season has been anyway, how would we be doing if we had Newman instead of Murray?

Just that site's take of course, but interesting Poythress, Lee, and Brisco aren't on the list at all. Hard to believe Skal is still 13th, but he's quickly sliding out of the lottery.

I'm not sure, but they;re scoring numbers/effiency are almost identical. Only difference is the shot volume, which is why Murray seems to be averaging 4 more PPG.

We should all expect Poythress & Lee to go undrafted.

There's no predicting what these guys will do. If I were Marcus Lee, was going to go undrafted, and was a year away from getting a degree I'd come back.

Jonathon Isaac apparently wants to go this year.. Says he's afraid he'll be another Skal.. Might lawyer up and try it.. Ever how far that'll go..
Ha. Interesting. To be honest, he never exactly seem like the sharpest tool in the shed when I saw interviews with him.

Sure, but if you knew Bam + Gabriel + SKJ were coming in w/ the possiblity of Bolden, then you might be left with no choice but to declare. Not to mention Isaac, Tai & Willis will be on the roster.

If Lee has NBA goals, he'll declare this season. He'll never get this amount of playing time again & this years draft is weak compared to next seasons.

If Malik Newman had chosen KU you guys would be mercilessly taunting us right now.

No he was even stupider. Picking Mississippi State. Had he came to UK he would still be projected as a lotto pick. Plenty of kids have learned from the mistakes of Cliff Alexander, Josh Selby, Cheick Diallo, Joel Embid, etc.

Poythress and Lee's effort has played themselves right out of it. They better come on strong and play like men from here out.

I guess you're just going to keep pushing that agenda despite demonstrative evidence otherwise. The inclusion of #3 overall pick Joel Embiid is particularly facepalm.

I'm confident that no time in Skal's career will he ever be better than Tyler Ulis. College or Pro.

Tyler Ulis should go higher. Screw the height issue.

Yeah Man Embiid is tearing the NBA up am I right? I mean he's just as good as Anthony Davis, Demarcus Cousins, and Karl Towns if not better. Oh yeah, and his teammate Nerlens Noel. Yeah he's way better than him too. I mean if I could start an expansion team right now, I would totally take Joel Embiid over any of those guys.

how in the world is the Russian dude from ku that high? Havent seen him doing anything aside from stand, catch and shoot.

I believe that the Ukrainians has skills the day i see it, sure against Ukrainian chumps in open gym but that aint squat

You can't teach height, and Ulis doesn't have it. Skal can shoot, and they will teach him to move, and put some weight on him

OLD STOLL FIELD GUY!

The Marcus Lee graduate transfer rumors to California have already started. There is a guy over on devil's den who claims to have a source close to Lee's parents and claims that his parents are upset with cal. Who knows if that's made up or not but I thought I'd pass it along....

I think Matt Jones said something about Lee and graduate transfer. He was on schedule to graduate at the end of his junior year

I said something about it a while back when we were still recruitin Bolden. You don't recruit him if your planning on sitting some guys or they are transferring out.
Cal wants these guys to get good and gone so he can help some kids out. Lee is not a basketball player. He's an athlete and in the wrong system that we play.

I hope he does get to do that..he's a good kid and has representedUK very well off the court..He's just not very good at basketball..He will not get much PT next year at UK, but he could win a ring if he wants to be a role player..

When has there ever been a "great, can't miss" prospect in the late first round?

Anyone in the late first round is always a gamble.

Kansas has a decent track record producing NBA talent. It's just that Kentucky's track record is exponentially greater. And that's also why UK has five top 25 players coming in next year (possibly six) and why Kansas was lucky to land one.
