Albeit, he says he's 99.9% sure that he will be attending Clemson, he said he wanted to experience his college official visits being that he only gets one opportunity to take those 5 visits.
The first 4 official visits have been decided on. He will visit Clemson, Miami, LSU, and Auburn.
Who's competing for his 5th and final official visit? Kentucky and Alabama.
He may not pick UK (to visit, over Alabama, let alone commit to UK), but this is certainly a step in the right direction. Considering this, as well as the #1 player in the country, Rashan Gary, wanting to visit UK, and also adding a commitment from the #2 receiver (#26 player) in the c/o 2018, it's becoming more and more apparent that elite recruits are viewing UK as an appealing destination to play football in college.
I think that appeal speaks for the real ceiling of our football program. Getting looks from multiple five-star players, despite the fact that UK hasn't produced much success on the field, as of yet. Once UK starts racking up more and more wins, it's logical to think that this school could get more and more elite talent. Moving up from four-stars and high three-star recruits to a couple of five-stars and several four-star recruits, and bottoming out classes with high three-star recruits.
As long as Kentucky continues to advance the program, both on and off the field, putting a lot of money into recruiting, and building new, unique facilities with top-notch equipment, and advancing our sports-science program, the sky is the limit for this program!
Exciting times for Kentucky fans.
