And to top it off, Monk was playing a team from Oklahoma who went 28-0 and had won the state championship. Fox was playing a team from Texas that included PG Andrew Jones, a top 35 player in the class of 2016. Finally, Killeya-Jones was facing top 10 player and MSU commit Miles Bridges. Not too shabby.4 of UK's guys had fantastic games yesterday. Studs.
Monk - 46 pts
Fox - 31 pts, 12 rebs, 6 asts
SKJ - 28 pts, 11 rebs
Bam - 23 pts, 12 rebs
Plus Gabriel was getting rave reviews the other day for his performance.

I saw the game with Bam in Charlotte yesterday. Bam's team got beat by 10 by local Charlotte private school, never had a lead. Poor guard play and defense by High Point. Bam looked good, but will need to step up defense next year. He got stuffed twice by a 6'6" kid...............He has a big motor, goes hard..............And Bam is on a loaded team where points and rebounds are shared. There are 9 d1 recruits on his team.
By the end of the 2016-17 season, I think all five will be starting for us.
I think Humphries and Matthews will be our top reserves and should play starter minutes, but it will be the freshmen leading the way. They are just too talented.
if that.Next UK coach will probably only be able to pick up 1-2 of these caliber recruits every year.
I was at DeAaron's game. Sat behind his family.
With around 3.3 seconds left in the 3rd quarter, he took a steal 3/4 of the court and hit a layup before the buzzer sounded. It was the fastest I've seen a guy accelerate in a long time.
UK will be the favorite to win it all next year and I'd be surprised if they didnt.Don't know if our frosh will win it all next year - think Duke and MSU could end up having more returnees to go with their huge classes than we will, but our guys are going to be incredibly fun to watch.

I'd be SHOCKED if Grayson Allen doesn't go pro. Other than the game against us, the guy has been freaking awesome.
He's averaging 20+, and I think his 3-pt shooting percentage is 50-plus. The fact that Briscoe and the rest of our team shut this guy down should excite everyone.
Duke should lose Ingram and Allen only.
Hate to sound like this but its true. Most of the time those type of white boys usually stick around. At Duke and other places. Reddick stayed what? All 4 didn't he. And I know some do leave early but I can see Allen wanting to come back and being on that loaded team next year. No doubt he can be a 1st rounder and he's ballin out right now but I would guess he comes back
Wonder what Michigan St will look like? You know Costello and Davis in the frontcourt. Then Bridges at SF. But then what? I don't think they're done with this class either. Eron Harris is a really good player who should put up 12-14 a game for them next year but I don't know if he or Langford will start at the 2.
I think Ulis is gone. Lee as well. I also think Allen is gone. Ingram will leave too, IMHO.
I think we will start:
G Fox
G Monk
F Gabriel
F Killeya-Jones
F Adebayo
Key Reserves:
G Matthews
F Humphries
F Willis
I think they will start:
G Thornton
G Kennard
G Jones
F Tatum
F Giles
Key Reserves:
G Jackson
F Jeter
F DeLaurier
It's going to be close between the two teams, if they meet (which would be in the tourney).
If Ulis is back, we are the better team. His experience and leadership would give us an edge, IMHO.
Costello will graduate. They probably look like this:
Starters
G Nairn
G Harris
G Langford
F Bridges
F Davis
Key Reserves
G Winston
G McQuaid
F Bess
F Ward
F Schilling
I'd say Winston will start over Nairn. Nairn aint that good IMO. Nairn's a good distributor and ball handler but not much else. Winston is the better PG.
