Now that we've seen a few games, my sense is growing that the trio of Ulis-Murray-Briscoe will eventually rival the impact of Dee Brown-Deron Williams-Luther Head. Those guys got to the title game with one loss, as I recall, and had the bad luck to be in the same year as the Af-Am All-stars from UNC-CHeated.
It may take the Kentucky guards longer to jell, as they are less experienced. The Cats will probably lose several more games headed to March than the 1-loss UI team. But the rest of the UK team -- Skal, Poythress, Lee, Matthews, Humphries, etc. -- is much stronger than I remember the front court being for Illinois.
