2015 UK is clutch

We can bitch, piss and moan about some of these games all we want, but one fact is true thus far of our Cats. 2015 UK Football has been the epitome of clutch. They are 4-1 in one possession games, at an 80% success clip thus far. Now I know the haters will be like "Two are EKU and ULL" and I say fine, but UK is still 2-1 at a 66.66% clip in 3 SEC games in one possession games this season.

I guess my point is that UK is going to be in A LOT MORE close games this year IMO so these early experiences can be very helpful. Of course the glass half empty guys (We have none of those on this forum right? LOL) will probably say we have used up all our magic pixie dust and will start losing all these games from here on out. I think we win some and lose some, but this team will go bowling and have a successful season.

Dawson really beat himself regarding the last drive vs UF, said he made a couple of awful calls. Would have been great to pull that win off.

The ULL and EKU games are concerning but the D effort vs UF, the SEC road win, and total game vs UM are good signs.

That FL D is just loaded though. Their D-Line is vicious and the secondary is great...I'm very intrigued by them with @Missouri and @LSU the next two games. I think they split, which is fine for them.

Winning the close ones is a good sign. We all know what its like to lose all the close ones. Go Cats!!

No question winning close games builds confidence, and being 4-1 is great for us. That close loss to UF actually looks pretty good right now, what with the Gators being 5-0 and pummeling Ole Miss by 28.

Actually, I wasn't thinking of building confidence when I wrote my post above. I was thinking of how far the rebuilding of this program has come in terms of coaching, recruiting and playing. And I agree that it also builds confidence; and that the UF game looks better. Go Cats!!
