Does Pitt have any chance to win at the chicken box tonight? I have not seen Pitt play this year, I was surprised to see them ranked right now.

From what I've seen this year, when in doubt, go with the home team. Of course Pitt has a chance, but I do not see a win there.

Pitts defense is 188 on Kenpom, but their offense is 4. Defense wins most times, Pitt can't play defense, UofL can.

UofL wins and it won't be very close

Pitt is 14-1 and 3-0 in the ACC. UL is the favorite but hoping Pitt at least gives them a scare.

I would say UL should win fairly comfortably, by 8 or more. They seem to shoot the ball much, much better when playing at home than they do anywhere else. That said, I didn't expect Wake Forest to give UL a game at the Chicken Bucket and if they would have hit their FT's they would have won. Maybe Pitt can pull it off, but I would be surprised.

Hate to say it, but we should be rooting for UL. Kentucky might end up on that line between a 3 and a 4 seed, or maybe a 2 and a 3. While it might not matter, when in doubt always take a lower seed. Premium wins would come into play, along with other factors.

You on Crack? I'd just assume UK sat at home for the ncaa than root for anything Loserville..

Both teams schedules look very similar. Pitt, like UL, has played and beat a bunch of cupcakes, with a loss to Purdue. As stated, UL has also played and beat a bunch of cupcakes and lost to Mich. State, UK, and Clemson. Neither team has much to stand on from a quality standpoint, and I'm not sure the winner of this game is really helping their cause much, but a W is a W.

"Ranked teams" probably shouldn't even be in the conversation with either of these teams right now, but none the less they're both in the top 25.

That being said, I'm gonna say UL pulls it out at home with something like 73-67.

Pitt was on some list as being over ranked due to such a weak OOC schedule

Posted same thought at exact same time.

Are you insane? UK's schedule is fine, our RPI is high. I hope UL loses every game they play, just a despicable university (from top to bottom) and fanbase.

Rooting for Louisville is not going to help them win/lose. So yeah, I'll be happy if they win because it will help my team. If this were last season and we were a stone cold lock for that top overall seed, I would pull for IU over UL, but it's not. We can use all the help we can get.

Our RPI is fine right now, but there's no guarantee that it stays that way. Plus, if UL starts dropping games, that has an affect on our RPI. Common sense.

you know I respect your opinions and generally really like your posts. At least I hope you do.
I get what you're saying - but I just can't; if they had anything worth respect maybe......but no, I want them to lose every game.

I'm going to watch the game on mute, because their PA announcer should be put down.

I would never root for U of L to win anytime in any sport. Nobody hates their fans as much as I do.
That said Pitt has no chance. They aren't losing at home after the Clemson loss.
I haven't looked but they are probably a double digit favorite and they will win very easily with a likely assist from the zebras.

I think rooting for UL to lose every game is giving them too much respect. They don't deserve to be respected. Heck, their program is in such shambles we shouldn't even give them the time of day.
I'm almost at the point where I want to put my arm around them and with a light fist bump to their chin tell em "it'll be ah-ight lil buddy".

Rooting for them has nothing to do with anything. And there is no situation I would ever root for the tards. I hope they lose the rest of their games for infinity.

If we win all of our games and Louisville loses all of there's, bet we still get a 1.

I won't be cheering for Louisville under any circumstances.

Mostly I don't pay any attention, unless I find out they're down late. Then I grab the remote.

Hope they get buried like turds in a cat box!

Every loss puts more pressure on 3stacks. He also has to live up to his "greatest chemistry team in 40 years" & "We have 7-8 NBA players on our roster" !
