Who can split on the road and win at home? Big road wins will determine the regular season champion. The tournament is going to be a knock down, drag out.
Whichever team goes undefeated at home and .500 or better on the road will be your conference champion.
This might be the strongest I've seen this league in basketball. As of now, there's not one guaranteed easy win over any team in the SEC.

It may be the strongest from top to bottom I’ve ever seen ANY league.
If you go 13-5 in this league you will have had a helluva year
I think Auburn/Tenn lost 5 in 2017. Cats won regular season with 5 losses a year or two but I don't think 6 losses has ever won the regular season championship. At least not in the last 35 years. Probably never.
And then just like Bama and football because we have more quality losses because we do not play in a shit conference with 2 good teams and the rest mid major level the SEC will get under seeded in the tournament.
I wonder if the Earth would still be spinning if every SEC team went like, 9-9 on the season. Everyone finish with the same exact freaking record ! haha !

Not saying it's not going to happen. Just giving historical context. Indeed, the depth of the league is historical. Especially with the edition of Texas and Oklahoma. I probably would take 6 losses and take my chances.
This is true. Watch Duke win a weak acc and Gonzaga win their high school conference and get 1 seeds.
Looks like the SEC is going to be a fight, not going to be too many easy wins in conference.
