Another Super Bowl performance from KY's SEC opponent. They hit several threes with a man in their face, and Canty accidentally banked in a three late that did us in. Murray had a bad second half shooting which also did us in.
Really? Then there must not be any good teams this year because Kansas, UNC, Maryland, and Duke have all allowed it to happen multiple times.

Auburn shoots 55 shots and half is from 3 and some were unbelievable shots. They were banking 3's and we were playing decent 'D' on the 3's. Some where unbelievable and lucky shots. They had 31 FT's to our 18 which was funny since most of their shots were 3's. This was a Road game that should have been a "W". Our 3 guards went 15-50 shooting for 30% and Lee and POY had 9 points and 7 reb in a total of 40 min for both. We almost won a game on the road with Lee with 3 points and 4 reb in 19 min and POY with 6 and 3 reb. in 21 minutes and our 3 Guards going 16-51 for 31% & 4/13 from 3 for 30%. We still outrebounded Auburn 42-31 without POY/LEE on the court most of the game. WEIRD GAME TODAY!
Auburn has shot the ball like that all year. This isn't anything new. We should be blaming our defense for letting them get that many good looks. Their inside game is non-existent.

Agreed. I actually do not remember a three where one of our guys were not right in the shooters face. They knew their season was a failure already and the only redeeming game was to beat the big dogs. They hadn't beat a ranked team in like 6 years I think they said. Add that the ranked team was UK and it was just explosive. I mean their coach cried after the game. Need I say more?

I know Auburn doesn't really get very many chances for their fans to celebrate so hold onto this one big guy. Your coach cried after beating UK. Let that sink in as to how far down the trough your team is. A running joke. I know at one point they had hit 5 of 6. Not sure how they finished but they hit a lot of shots I'd give em most of the time.

When you come across the half court line like Canty and throw it up with that awful shooting form you usually don't have good results and can take your team out of it, but no against Kentucky they go in as usual, I also thought he got away with a continuation move on the foul by Ulis. I thought he was hurt but that was fake too, as he was talking crap at the line right after that, typical bruce pearl player.
This is dumb. Canty is shooting 40% from three this year. He makes more than 5/game.
Yeah but overall 61st at 37.5%..........which is good but not outstanding.
Great teams don't. Such as '96 and '12 Cats (Iu was decent that year). Good teams have super bowl games againstthem all the time such as the 2010 Cats (@ So. Car). Hell didn't the champs duke lose by 20+ at nc state last year ? Lost their next game at home to another unranked team in Miami by 16.
GREAT teams, and I mean the all time great teams in college basketball, do not lose games they shouldn't possibly lose. Good teams do a lot.

It wasn't just today. The injuries have forced us to adjust and guys are getting tired with all the minutes they are logging, but we're a good shooting team from behind the arc. It's the inside game we struggle with.
Then why aren't you on their board celebrating their win, you can't be for both teams, better hope we don't meet again because on a neutral court auburn don't stand a chance.
I don't feel like we beat ourselves today, we just got beat by a team that shot out of their minds. They hit several contested 3's.
We needed more scoring down low but I didn't feel defense was all that terrible. It was a perfect storm for Auburn & they seized the moment.
