Doubtful. If Duke wins at least 1 of 2 they'll probably jump us for the 10th spot.
This is good news for us. Were going in the right direction at the right time. GBB!!!!
Just take care of ourselves and keep winning.
The path is opening. When we win both games this week we are a little closer. Let's hope LSU stumbles this week.

Iowa state plays no D, Baylor is an awful road team, West Virginia can't shoot on the road, OU has peaked & will lose early as usual in the Big Dance, Texas has 9 losses, & KU is the best team every year to lose in the 2nd round. But Jay Williams just said he can see all of these teams in the Final Four. Dude must smoke tons of crack. The Big 12 will fold as usual when it counts. I have seen this happen over & over & over & over. Jeez.
Nothing unreal about it. Conference road games are hard, period. Baylor and Texas were both favored.
It is a little unbelievable that NO ONE has been able to separate from the pack this year (and that means you, Villanova, and especially you, Kansas), but it's never particularly surprising when ranked teams lose road games to other ranked teams. Which is why Baylor and Texas were favored in the first place.
i dont care if we end the season in the top 4 ranking wise. I want to be the 8 seed in Kansas' bracket. I want to send their butts home in the first weekend and watch them cry.
As crazy as it seems, if we were to win all the remaining games and the SEC tourney, we still possibly could be a one seed. Some of these other teams have to lose *Kansas/Oklahoma, as they face each other, etc. But, a high 2 seed is equally very possible. But, I don't know that we will win the rest of our games of course.

TA&M really fell off. We're going to beat Tennessee like they stole something. @Florida and @Vandy will be tough, but we should have Poythress back. Not to mention this is where Cal's teams really start to put it together. As for the SECT.. all neutral court baby! We'll be a top seed and should walk to the finals.
Not sure about a #1 seed. I just think too many teams need to lose a few. OU, Kansas, UNC and Nova. Those guys each need to lose at least 1 game, but probably 2 or 3.
Nova is going to walk to a #1 seed.
UNC still has Duke, maybe 1 loss there. Maybe another regular season loss or ACCT loss..
OU probably has another 2-3 losses, so we have a shot there. They are slumping, too.
But then you still need Maryland and Iowa to screw up.
I really wish A&M didn't drop off so much because now they will be desperate to win on Saturday and although I think UK is the better team it will be hard to beat A&M at home. Same goes for Vandy next week.

Nobody this season is as good as Zona, UK, Duke, Wisconsin, Virginia, etc. from last season so a lot of highly ranked teams picking up W's on the road is to be expected. They aren't good enough to overcompensate for home court advantage.

And yet, I'd bet UK goes further than any team in the B12 with the possible exception of OU.
It's become the norm. That league is overrated as usual. A couple maybe 3 good teams and a bunch of mediocre garbage who fight at home and lay down on the road and neutral courts at the end of the season. Same story, different year.
I think we waived goodbye to a 1 seed for good when we lost at UT
Best we can hope for is a 2 - but we would have to win out and get to SECT title game; plus some losses by other teams ahead of us

If a coaching vacancy were to occur at West Virginia or Iowa State would Rick Barnes issue a statement removing his name from the coaching search?
