Right now the Cats are as good as anyone not named Oklahoma, UNC or Maryland. All 3 are veteran teams that are close to maxed out potential wise. We have more upside than any team.
A 9-1 finish and an SECT title would have us with outstanding wins versus Duke, UL, Texas A&M, LSU, 2 Florida wins (maybe 3 counting the SECT) and South Carolina. Quality wins might include Arizona State. Several bad losses but most teams have them.
27-7 or 26-8 on Selection Sunday probably has us as the 2 seed at the YUM. Cal is the BEST NCAA tourney coach in the nation. If/when he gets the Cats to the regional finals at Louisville...bet on another Final 4.
