I feel like Dillingham might have the widest range of outcomes for any freshman we’ve had in recent memory. Honestly no idea what to expect from him, my eye test makes me think he’s special from a skill standpoint. But I also get a weird feeling about him. Idk.
closest thing I have seen in 20 years to Iverson. And whats funny is 3 other people have said that to me not knowing I have had that thought for the past 16 months when I became aware of him. Not many human beings can move that fast and dribble that insanely even in the NBA . Kyrie can , Fox can and Dilly can. I am sure there are 3-4 more but not many. Wagner is a better player and will be an All Star almost from the day he is drafted but damn Dilly is something UK fans haven't seen since at least Fox. our 1-3 positions are the strongest Cal has had here in a long while.
Edwards , Wagner and Bradshaw all should be lotto picks with Edwards and Wagner top 5 picks. Again freshman are hard to win with but just like Duke with Zion and that gang or UK with AD and MKG there is no excuse at least to make the final 4. Especially with the experience like Threeves and Mitchell part of the team.

What an amazing high Reed must be on. Grew up a UK fan with both parents playing here. Kid must be on cloud 9.
I mean we still need another big regardless. I want to believe so bad but Cal needs to go to stubborn class, some kind of therapy trust me from one Italian dealing with an Italian family my whole life to another he needs to embrace the change but I don't think you ever will.
Forget xs and os if he would just embrace some change, some go with the flow up-to-date stuff it would make all the difference in the world.
Cal You got lucky, some things dropped into your lap. It's been 3 rough years, embrace change, play to the team strength, and no weird line ups. Go small fine, just play fast that's what DJ and Dillingham are speed, I know it's crazy but press get Reed involved he's a shooter and just make it fun again man. Get Somto on campus or another big and you have an interesting team. Just play to their strengths. Not yours from 20 years ago. Don't be afraid to go small, zone and press.
We got 11 maybe 12 run teams into the ground. Come on man I'm trying. I want to be pumped again! Get the blue blood moving in our veins again please.

He’s a throwback in the sense that he’s probably the only player on the roster that is here because of the name on the front of the jersey.

lots are saying Dilly runs PG, I believe Wagner plays with more alpha dog swag and will demand the ball in his hands more and get a young team in a groove more than dilly. Edwards is probably the player I'm most excited about. I think he's a faster (and slightly smaller Jones) but attacks rim with athletic ferocity. I'm excited to see Wag and Reed on floor at the same time, I would have no worries about our team's basketball IQ in those moments.
