$1 Margaritas at Applebees

Even those can’t make up for the shitty, overpriced, food they serve.
Yup they prob figure you’ll order a few low end Rita’s and then you order their awful food too and they’ll still make a profit.

Really have no clue how they stay in business there’s not there even remotely appealing.

They are still a magnet for the lower income. The one by me has a packed parking lot at night.

I'd never willingly go to one.. but when Jersey Mike's is charging $18 for a sub, and you can't get a burger and a beer for less than $30 these days.. maybe it's not such a bad option.

They do have that all you can eat chicken nuggets....errrrr...boneless wings deal from time to time too.

Wouldn’t be surprised if it was similar to those wine based chi chi margaritas you can get for 10 bucks for the 1.75 L - just throw some alcohol and flavoring on it.

I also wouldn't be shocked if bartenders, who are fully aware their tips will be based on these $1 drinks, are even giving a shit when they make them. The right ingredients, clean barware, etc. And I can't say I blame them haha.

Imagine serving an annoying drunk couple for 4 hours and their bill is 16 $1 margaritas, and they leave you 2 bucks for a tip? Ha, I bet that happens a lot.

Those $1 margaritas look like they come in a shot glass as it is. I know it's not, but that glass can't be more than 7oz. at the most. Basically the size glass you get on a beer flight.
 
Wine based margaritas?!? Vile.

If I’m catching a hangover it’s coming from something that’s been in a barrel for way too long for it to even be mentioned in an Applebees.
 
Enjoy your ice and sour mix. Also, enjoy Applebees you heathens. You realize they make restaurants now that have good food, correct?
