    Don’t see how you couldn’t take a wait and see approach with this. Has had success. Runs really good offensive sets. Probably not breaking the bank to get him. Gets the importance of Kentucky basketball to the state. And is one of our own.

    I was totally against Drew. Mostly because i thought it was ridiculous that he was the first offered. I don’t believe there is meat to this, but I’d support Pope and take a wait and see attitude. He’s one of our own.

    Like i said, I’d be fine with a Golden hire. May or may not work out well. Just have to wait and see. But I feel the same about Pope. The only difference i see is age. Honestly if we have struck out on Hurley and Donovan, I’d rather have someone like this than Bruce Pearl or Pitino.

    You could work out an agreement with Donovan right now and let him finish the season. They’re not winning anything. Keep Ulis on staff and let him work on portal guys and holdovers with Donovan’s oversight.
