These unis look even better in person. They are amazing. Matt May from UKMR says they're going to have them with 70s/80s style stirrups later on this season.
I do not like Becker hitting 4th though. Move him to 6th. Have Heyer and Collett 4 and 5.
It's cold here today, but not as bad as I expected. I'm sure around the 5th inning, it could be brutal. Expecting a fast one with these pitchers. (KNOCK ON WOOD)
Well Becker can hit it hard and that might work out. Still would like Collett and Heyer to get as many at bats as possible.
It will be double barrell action for a while, Hoop Cats on TV, and Bat Cats on laptop. Hope it isn't too CORNfusing ! lol

Texas Tech takes 2-0 lead off Hjelle in T1. Error at third, perfect hit-and-run, infield hit thru first that maybe should have been handled. It was smashed pretty good, though.
Error on Heyer to start and then a single before a ground ball to first gets right between Cottams legs. 2-0 Tech with a runner on third and no outs.
Hjelle gets a K left one down Broadway and hitter takes it into right to score another run. 3-0 runners on first and second.
Hjelle escapes potential heavier damage by rolling a 1-6-3 double play. Middle of first: Texas Tech 3, Kentucky coming to bat.
UK goes down quickly and quietly with Squires and Aklinski both grounding out and Pompey strikes out looking.
Hjelle gets a pop fly to right and then one to left for a quick two outs and then gives up a slap line drive to right. A grounder to Heyer ends the threat.

Heyer looks at three balls before a two seam is down the middle for a strike. Heyer grounds to third for an out. Their third baseman has a freaking cannon.
Collett works the count full and does a lot to battle and stay alive before going down swinging.
That's some two out hitting that we needed! Johnson looks at four straight balls to keep the inning alive.
