1. The refs were ABOMINABLE. A 6-point play? Jebus Cripes on a cracker.
2. The defense was bad, but in all fairness I think our guys got tired and the refs really screwed us.
3. Looks like Wagner might have turned a corner. He was good. 10 assists and 8-12 shooting. But that missed layup on the breakaway...sigh. "Let's wait and see how it plays out" etc.
4. My wife, who doesn't really care about basketball, has become a UK fan. She laughingly said, after Big Z hit his third three in a row and then she saw all the Big Z posters and cardboard cutouts in the stands, "Looks like Sheppard lost his throne." What a good thing to happen to our team. Ofc Shep came back and hit a bunch of threes so I doubt it, but Z is definitely a game changer. This kid could lead us to the promised land and it wasn't even his threes. It's the spin move dunk that he missed that blew my mind. This kid is no joke. We can run the offense through him in the low block and Calipari can have visions of puppies and ice cream in his head. Honestly guys, if we get Thiero back we will seriously make a run. This team is really good and we are almost healthy. We're definitely not losing to a 15 seed in the 1st round this year.
