Hello all. I’m back from Indy today and ready to get back to the business of reporting on important matters.

Cats should be wrapping up practice at approx 5:30 today. We’ll have DC Matt House, defensive staff and players available this afternoon.

Stay tuned for the latest as the Cats continue to prepare for the Vols...

* House says tape of UGA game showed UK just wasn’t up to the standard they’ve set all season. “Don’t get me wrong,” he added, “(UGA) is good” but Cats made them look even better; didn’t play well on the edges and missed a lot of tackles.

* There were some good things on tape, too. At times, they did well at point of attack. Inconsistency led to some breakdowns and a lot of extra yardage.

* “They’re upset with themselves now” House said of the unit. “That’s not who we are. That’s not our standard.” Cats have responded accordingly in practice. Good week of prep so far. House knew they would.

* Are injuries affecting Kash and Jordan at LB? Yes, to an extent, House said. But no excuses.

* Davonte Robinson has been playing really well, House sad. Will do a good job filling in for Darius West in first half of Tennessee.

* Vols receivers are very talented. UK defensive backs have to be on their game Saturday.

* Cats sacked UT seven times last year. UK needs to be better on first down in this game in order to earn the right to rush the passer and try to duplicate that kind of effort.

* Kash Daniel hoping he can get his club cut down a bit soon to give him more ange of motion in his wrist, but general time frame for this injury was 6 weeks. Still a lot of healing to be done.

* Cats know there’s still a lot to play for, Daniel said. So many things they can still do that either haven’t been done or haven’t been done in a long time: going 10-2 among them.

* Derrick Baity says it’s self-explanatory that Cats still have a lot left on the table. Says they’re eager to get this bad taste out of their mouths.

* Baity said he guarantees there’s no drop-off from Darius West to Davonte Robinson the way Robinson has been coming on strong. He’s got a ton of confidence in him.
