Today's post is loaded with content. We got both coordinators as well as Josh Allen, Benny Snell, and Josh Paschal.

Eddie Gran

* Coach Gran sounded off on the Louisville game like you would expect a veteran coach too. He called it the Cats' "twelfth game" and focused on the fact that for UK to win they have to make the contest about themselves and not to get caught up in the "jabbering."

* Gran said he was pleased with how well the UK offensive line performed against Middle Tennessee State. He complimented how well the big fellas' got off the ball and how they countered MTSU's blitz-happy scheme.

* Freshman offensive tackle Darian Kinnard played with tremendous physicality last Saturday, Gran said.

* Gran said that the team's needs will come before Benny Snell's run at the UK all-time career rushing mark on Saturday. However, if Snell is as close as "22 yards or something like that", then the staff will leave him in the game and keep feeding him. Gran also said that Snell is the kind of player who could rush for low numbers and be "ecstatic" if the Cats win and go 9-3.

* Terry Wilson's touchdown connection with C.J. Conrad against MTSU was both parts Wilson growing confident as a passer and Conrad making a great catch. Gran iterated that "there were a lot of guys around" where Wilson threw the ball, though.

* Gran said that getting nine wins as an SEC team is difficult.

* Gran called Louisville's defense a "good lookin' bunch" and said he believes that the Cards' coaching staff will have them ready to go on Saturday.

* Terry Wilson threw some nice deep balls to the UK receivers after practice, Gran reported.

* Gran briefly discussed different "trickerations" that the MTSU defense used last Saturday against the Cats.

Matt House

* Despite the fluid coaching situation at Louisville, Coach Matt House said he expects for the Cards' D to look like the team they've seen on film.

* House touched on both Louisville quarterbacks. He called Malik Cunningham an explosive runner and praised the dual-threat abilities of Puma Pass.

* Like Coach Gran, House said that despite this being a rivalry game, the Cats need to play disciplined football on Saturday.

* MTSU did a good job picking up "nagging yards" against the Cats on first down last weekend, which was the key to their sustained drives against the Cats vaunted D, House said.

* Coach House said that Quinton Bohanna, DeAndre Square, and Chris Oats have made significant strides as the season has progressed.

* Coach House sounded pleased with how the UK defensive line has played this season. He said that their consistency has been excellent this season. Calvin Taylor and Bohanna have emerged as leaders in that position room.

* House praised the mature play of Jordan Jones this season but did admit that the opposing team's MO is to try and string the quick-tempered linebacker towards an outburst.

Josh Allen

* Allen said he hasn't thought much about the awards he has been nominated for and will worry about them after the season is over.

* Allen thinks this Kentucky team is more mature and better prepared to handle the extra circular activities that abound during rivalry games.

* On the subject of mobile quarterbacks, Allen said that Kentucky has plenty of able tacklers besides himself to contain the threat. He also praised the defensive line for occupying opposing offenses enough for the Cats' backers to break through for sacks.

* Allen and Mike Edwards elevated Boogie Watson to be the third member of the Blitz Bros.

Benny Snell

* Snell still hasn't decided if he is going pro or not. He will meet with his family etc. after the Lousiville game and the bowl game. He also hasn't given much thought if he will sit the bowl game out, though he hinted he will play.

* Snell said he won't try and force the all-time rushing record to come to him but will "let it come naturally." He added that he usually doesn't wonder about his numbers until late in the game.

* The Cats, Snell said, know that this game "is war" that Louisville's poor season is not affecting the way the team has prepared for Saturday's showdown.

* The Tennessee lost restored the Cats' hunger, Snell said.

Josh Paschal

* Paschal said it felt good to be honored as SEC Defensive Player of the Week because he worked so hard to get back to this point.

* There are a few things Paschal said he could improve on from the MTSU game, but he did not elaborate on the specifics, stating that he was shaking off the football rust.

* Paschal talked a lot about how he stayed in shape during his treatments towards the end of the video, I recommend watching it in full.

Kash Daniel

* Daniel confirmed that the lighter cast he has been using to protect his broken hand has made it easier for him to use his fingers and wrist, thus making it easier for him to tackle.

* Daniel agreed with Benny Snell that the team has been "dialed in" since the Tennessee loss.

* The Paintsville native is heading back to the mountains for the Thanksgiving holiday, where he said he will enjoy his dad's mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie.
