UK/Florida '14 on SEC Network now

Randle, Young and the last broadcast for Jimmy Dykes.

Looking back, you wouldn't have expected us to be in the championship game and Florida to not make it.

We were still trying to figure things out.

efficiency matters so much in college basketball. not sure what the stats where for that team but the guard play was so inconsistent. and WCS and Lee just dont provide offense. randle was sooo good, but that put alex on the bench. became an easy team to guard.

but officiating hurt too....the refs called the game one way at the start of the season, then changed half way through because they couldnt deal with all the fouls.

I enjoyed that 2014 final between Florida & Kentucky. The game kind of fizzled in the last minute when neither team could make a basket or hit free throws. I

That is a historic SEC title game when both participants made it to the Final4 that year. It is hard to keep up that high level of excellence on annual basis.
