We are organizing a fundraiser for Dedra and her 2 sons (Noah 11, and Henry 4). She recently was hospitalized with pneumonia and had to be put on a ventilator in an induced coma for 12 days. She is facing a recovery of at least 3 months. Rehab and physical therapy. She is on oxygen full time still. She is unable to work for the time being. She has worked since age 14. For most of her children's lives long hours (60+ per week). Not being able to provide is causing her deep distress. She wants nothing more than to get healthy and back to work. She has been reluctant to ask for help so we are doing it for her. She is a wonderful mother and friend.
