-UK sweeps again: outright leaders of the SEC 14-1, ahead of Arky (12-2) and A&M (10-3).
-Arky & Bama split: Bama just walked them off in extras to split the first two games of the series in Tuscaloosa. Root for Bama.
-UT takes first two from LSU. LSU is toast and UT is still good.
-UGA wins the mizzou series 2-1. UGA is a tourney team, but not likely to host.
-USC wins first two in Gainesville. USC is a good team, above .500 in SEC, and competing to host a regional. UF is officially in trouble at 6-8 in the SEC, a ton of midweek losses and now losers of their last two SEC series.
-Miss state is up 1-0 on Ole miss. I'm rooting for Ole miss to strengthen our RPI
-A&M murdered Vandy yesterday and they're up 5-0 today. I feel confident that we will win the Vandy series at home.

At this point, Arky, A&M, UK, and UT are strong contenders to be top 8 national seeds. Just a matter of continuing to win and positioning. Vandy should also be a regional host. USC is in good shape to host a regional; bama, Georgia, and Miss state also have a shot to host regionals but have work to do.

Those 9 teams should get into the NCAA. Florida is on the bubble. Ole miss is outside of the bubble, but could squeeze in.

Auburn, LSU, and Mizzou are playing out the string. Honestly, Mizzou looks a lot better and a lot more competitive than LSU or auburn which is crazy to say.

Arkansas got all the pre-season love, deservedly so, but for all the talk of UK taking advantage of a back loaded schedule, it's a little deceiving because the Cats and the Hogs have played four out of five common opponents. All of.those teams are near the bottom because they have five to six losses against UK and Arkansas. The only opponents they haven't shared are Georgia (we swept) and LSU(Arky swept) and LSU is the worse of those two teams.

Agree with this. Arkansas' schedule has definitely been worse than ours. Their series victories are Ole Miss (swept them and so did we, tho arky had them at home), Auburn (we swept auburn in auburn, while arky took two of three from them there), LSU (swept them at home, and LSU is awful), Mizzou (swept them at home, we won 2 of 3 in Columbia), and Alabama (they have split with the tide in Tuscaloosa and currently trialing in game 3).

UK's road series wins are all common opponents with the hogs and our results are better. UK's two sweeps over UGA and Bama are better than anything Arkansas has on its resume.

With that said, the back half is REAL for both teams. Arky has to come to Lexington, but also has to play A&M. A&M is also in the race for the title, they've boat raced Vandy so far this weekend.

I’m not so sure that A&M isn’t the best team in the country.

The Tide just took the series from Arkansas.
Wow!

SECsports.com has still not registered our 3rd win over Auburn. They already have Arkansas with 3 losses. No reason not to have our game in the standings other than the powers that be being in shock at Kentucky having the best record in the SEC.

It's irritating me too that it hasn't been updated. Also when the page that shows the national rankings, all the SEC teams ranked are in bold (and underlined too, I think) but not us and it's a small thing but it's really pissing me off. I feel like there's an intentional disrespect..
