Hate to be right and for it to be that predictable.
As for the depths of what was “accomplished,” this reminds me of our surrendering NE Louisiana’s first P5 football victory in 1994.
“Oakland’s first victory in the field of 64.”
Odd wording.
Had they previously won a “play in” game, or had they won 50 years ago in the field of 32?

Cal cursed himself with the whole “basketball school,” BS.

That was really really dumb for Cal to say. We have a great mens bb program, but we better invest in football like the other so-called football schools
Someone said repeatedly that Cal had the youngest team in the NCAA field. I felt sorry for him, having such a young team, having to play older teams, but his team should be really good next year as these players mature. Hopefully, that Reeves guy has more eligibility, because he seemed like the baller MVP of the team.
This was the first thing that came to mind after the game. But was not going to post anything, trying to learn.
