Yea, Thornton's now actually makes their own. They stopped the deal with Dunkin after Dunkin started opening up their own locations. As you may know, the other side of my personal empire is a struggling restaurant. At a food supplier (Sysco) event I met the woman who basically was the Thornton's employee who was over all of that, their food services essentially. I am a big fan of their PPU's so when she told me that she worked in that part of the company I asked her, "who makes your PPU's." Got the scoop.
I still want to patronize your struggling restaurant, If only I knew where it was.

Dion, come on. The entire misguided nexus of those protests is anti-semitism.

You have an agenda, but you're NOT stupid.
Bull. They are anti-apartheid. Israel should be boycott just like South Africa. Not supplied with top-of-the-line weapons to impose their apartheid. Anti-Israel is not antisemitic. Many Jews are protesting Israel's actions along with everyone else.

Devils advocate on inflation though, while Trump (and Congress) lit a fire, the unnecessary subsequent spending bills Biden signed were unprecedented gasoline thrown on the fire. The economy was set to recover once the government got out of the way, and the democrats decided to continue multi trillion dollar deficits.

Edit: and these campus Gaza rallies give Trump a talking point on the BLM riots.

Covid shot policy and lockdowns are unforgivable.
Trump has a talking point on Border protection as well. All he has to do is point out all the lies Biden told during their previous debates, and point to all of his predictions that have come true.

Yes of course there is discrimination on the basis of political views. That isn't illegal. You want to make it so? Nazis can eat wherever they want in full regalia? Advocate for that. But in the meantime stop trying to equate the two like they're somehow similar.

RFK Jr. is polling at 13 percent in Washington.

If you remove RFK Jr. Biden has a 6 percent lead. With RFK Jr. (and the other 3rd party candidates, all of whom have qualified to be on the ballot) Trump currently leads 40 to 35.

And yes. it IS a big swing.
According to one single poll right? You aren't actually predicting that are you? Compare it to other polls.

It's the 538 polling averages.

If it weren't for Zogby (the worst of the worst), Trump would have an even larger lead. (qualified, as I said, if RFK Jr. and the others hold) Do I think, at the end of the day, Trump will win Washington? Probably not. I think, come election day, a lot of those 3rd party voters will get cold feet. But the fact that the Pacific NW is even in PLAY is all but the death knell for Biden.

Programmed, yes. Just like the ignorant students on US campuses. No way to tell who is innocent, because some are just trying to survive or fit in. God only knows how many. Those considered adults voted for Hamas and for Bipedo Joe, however, so they can't say they have no culpability.
North Koreans program their Kids to hate Americans, Palestinian kids in Gaza are programmed to hate Jews. American kids in America are programmed to hate America.

They didn't push bailouts. Trump did. It was his idea and Congress giddily agreed. Dems knew it opened the door for more giveaways and they were right.

Bailouts...? That was the Obama presidency.

If you're talking about giving the people back some of their money for shutting down the country for 2 weeks, that was an idea that he was given and trumpeted, yes. Who fed him the shut down idea that led to the covid relief?

It wasn't his idea to shut down the country and keep it shut down. That was advisors, the dept of health, and all related depts. Covid relief was meant to help, but that was just the excuse congress needed to keep racking up debt. It wasn't a conservative congress either, just like Trump isn't really a conservative.

I get you want to blame him for all of it. You've got no other targets at which to shoot that can win you any stuffed animals. He's as good as any if you’re still listening to media. Fox, Clay & Buck, or whatever...

A lot of people want to move on from Trump because of his mouth/twitter, and they don't care to whom they switch as long as they look the part and don't embarrass them. That's a bad move. He's no Saint, but he'd do more for this country than anyone, as evidenced by what he did pre-plandemic. Being disingenuous about it or dismissive is just as bad as being a Democrat socialist or RINO at this point because that is all it gets you.

Because he did what you call a "bailout" isn't a reason to blame him for everything that came after, unless you are programmable.

The best candidate running is never crapping the bed. The fact trump reacted like he did, despite him being the weakest of the 3 realistic candidates, is just more "trump first" actions. Noone should have to kiss the ring of a candidate who mishandled covid and lost to someone with two functioning brain cells.
You really are overly emotional about this whole thing and I don't get why. Did you already purchase big lots of Ron DeSantis posters for resale or something? There isn't a single govt that didn't flop with regard to "covid" on some level. Only a hormonal teenager would act like somehow THEIR parent was the only one that fudged it.

Regarding the toddleresque comment about losing to a nitwit, you have to be as arrogant and in denial as the left to say "he lost" anything to anyone. That election could've elected a dead chairman Mao if he was on the ballot. He didn't "lose to someone with two functioning brain cells."

The election was rigged/stolen, and for you to imply otherwise just shows your irrationality at this point. Clinging to your anger over DeSantis or whatever is not healthy or rational. I hope you get some wisdom in that regard.

If DeSantis was all that, why has he never gone after the timeshare corruption in his state? Why are there some people and issues he never goes after? Might be a great governor, but I think he's just another Bush, and they sold us out long ago.

If Trump was really maga, he would've bowed out while being the lightning rod and letting desantis wipe the floor with the Dems who would've had to counter with newsome.

Desantis’ primary campaign was so bad, I don’t think a victory over Biden is guaranteed.

Never really looked at the details, but I assume he hired a bunch of overpaid beltway consultants to tell him to put lifts in his shoes and abandon what made him successful.

Sort of what seemingly happened with Trump. Got elected with an America first message, then staffed his administration with permanent government uniparty hacks who worked for the uniparty, not America.

From your own link, "Some of the Jewish students who took part in the encampment played a role in excluding Zionists."
From the same article.

In practice, students who supported the existence of Israel were kept out — even if they opposed Israel’s right-wing government and its bombardment of Gaza."

From the other article:
"Siamak Kordestani, West Coast Director of the Friends of European Leadership Network, claimed in a post on X that an official visiting UCLA told him that “official security is maintaining a perimeter around the anti-Israel encampment. While they’re keeping some students out, they’re allowing others in and out … In these three photos you see one student blocked from entering Royce Quad, then later students wearing keffiyehs are allowed to use Janss Steps. These are official security – not encampment members.” He added that “wristbands are being used to identify anti-Israel students at @UCLA so that they are allowed to enter Royce Quad, Royce Hall, and Powell Library. Some students are allowed in and out, others are kept out. This is ILLEGAL and UCLA is not just tolerating it but facilitating it.”"

Finally, Dion said some truth, although he must not have realized he was doing it! Even a blind squirrel like him....

This may come as a shock, Dion, so walk around near sharp objects- not all ___s like all other ___s.

When the Jews became targets in mainland Europe, a bunch of Jewish people got on board a ship and tried to find safe harbor elsewhere. They tried England, South America, and North America. You know what finally sent them back home? You might be able to figure this out from your statement above....

If you said -Groups of Jewish people- congratulations. You were right. The US Govt was looking for sponsors so they could let them enter the country, and the 2 biggest Jewish unions/groups refused to help.

What role did Jewish people play during the Bolshevik Revolution?

If you said -Jewish people were involved in both the revolutionary leadership and atrocities, as well as were victims at the hands of the Bolsheviks- congratulations. You were right.

Generalizations are the broad brush by which the world is painted with blood and ruin. Context and details DO MATTER. You haven't learned history if you don't recognize how it's repeated. It's just "book learnin" if you don't apply it aptly.

But, Dion is a historian … right?

Making excuses for Hamas after 10/7 is antisemitism. Saying “from the river to the sea,” again, antisemitism. Ignoring the antisemitism in these belligerent movements is … antisemitism.

If you ever wondered if I agree with Joe on something:

“On college campuses, Jewish students [have been] blocked, harassed, attacked, while walking to class,” Biden declared. “Antisemitism, antisemitic posters, slogans calling for the annihilation of Israel, the world’s only Jewish state. Too many people denying, downplaying, rationalizing, ignoring the horrors of the Holocaust and Oct. 7... It is absolutely despicable, and it must stop.”

Exactly. Students who supported Israel, not Jews. In fact, Jews were part of the protest blocking other students. There is no antisemitism.

I didn't say it, the author did. That was their framing. That's why it has quotation marks, friend. Jews were part of the protest blocking other students. Some of whom also happened to be Jewish. Being Jewish or not was not a factor on either side.

You and Joe can enjoy your centrist apartheid support. Bleh. Not me.

I'm looking at it objectively. I was a huge trump fan since the 80s. I posted here very early in his legit campaign saying he had a chance because he was immune to the usual skeleton in the closet tricks which were classic Clinton/old dem politics.

He had a fine presidency but often mired himself in unnecessary social media fights and saying things he didn't need to say. Given the media furor, he has to be more careful and he was the opposite.

Of course the election was stolen but he squandered the critical few days he had to mount a legal contest by letting Rudy lead the charge. It was pathetic and ended predictably in failure. So proving it is over but most people know it even if they don't want to admit it.

This version of trump is much different than the one who won. He's older, much declined, won't avoid political pitfalls, like constant talking about stolen elections or the rigged cases. Undecided people don't like hearing it. Those that do are voting for him anyway. Then add in he lit the fuse for many of today's problems. Biden threw gas on them, but he still isnt in a strong position to argue those points.

Ironically his biggest successes were in foreign policy. He definitely doesn't highlight that nearly enough. He barely does at all.

Desantis’ primary campaign was so bad, I don’t think a victory over Biden is guaranteed.

It was not as good as it should've been for sure. I think a major part of that was the combined feverish attack from the left and right. The left because 1) they knew he was right about covid and showed they were liars and 2) they knew he was the far more formidable opponent in a general and 3) if he won, there would be legit accountability over the covid fraud.

The right because he ran when Trump wanted to run unopposed.

Amsterdam is now 56% migrants.

100 years from now... Europe will be nothing but a memory.

Pretty incredible the power of social media and buying politicians. China played it perfectly.

England in particular beat back siege after siege for 1000s of years just to voluntarily open their doors because they didn't realize china and it's anti west partners owned everything and everyone making decisions. They lost their country without a shot even being fired.

It's quite the incredible case study if history is allowed to examine it. A modern day trojan horse where foreign money and social media was allowed in but his the real danger. Sun tsu would be very proud of xi.

We're next. We're already beyond the tipping point. Just a matter of time.
