We were discussing inherent rights and the protections from government interference the Bill of Rights provides. I said “Constitution” rather than specifically saying the “Bill of Rights” which I assumed everyone knew we were talking about in context, and Dion used it as his chance to deflect to war powers.
I am not distinguishing the Bill of Rights from the Constitution. I am explaining the Constitution is more than the Bill of Rights, and I should not have opened the door to Dion’s deflection by saying “constitution” instead of limiting the discussion to the bill of rights.

Yes, back in US after 11 hour flight on Monday. Awesome trip. Reconnected with many old friends I've know for years. Great weather on Wed, March 20. Got up to 62°F and partly cloudy. Partied hard in Cologne this past Saturday. Thanks for asking.
