They've done nothing to make me abandon my morals...but they've tried their best to lower the publics in general.

Not to mention your alls obsession with porn in children's books...where you pull that little trick where you claim its bigoted against gays if you don't allow pre school books on fisting or whatever. Or the authors put a minority child as the character so you have an out to call it racist:

"When I see books by some of the greatest authors — I see Frederick Douglass there, being taken off the shelf — that’s when I begin to worry that we’re falling into this trap where we are failing to do what is necessary to democracy, which [is] to create public forums, educational pathways that engender empathy and understanding. That engender deep knowledge. That engender the kind of sentiment that is necessary for democracies to exist,” Sen. Cory Brooker (D-N.J.) said."

Ah yes Booker, a hearing on graphic content in books for children totally conjures thoughts of frederick Douglass. Lol always gotta throw that virtue signal in.

Then of course all the usual norms:

So...I didn't see even one law that was passed. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
You proved my point.
Do some Dems lean way further left than the majority of Dems. Absolutely. But 99.9 percent of the time their whacko ideas get no traction even among Democrats.
You gave examples of nutty Dem ideas that were never made into law....because the majority of Dems think they are nutty too.
Here's the problem....The nutty azz far right ideas are now mainstream with the Pubs.
Passing abortion laws all across the country that were last passed in 1864 wild west America. That's nuts. And those laws are absolutely not supported by a majority of Americans.
You think these nutty azz Republican laws are good for the public?? And you call Dems crazy. 🤣

'Passing abortion laws all across the country that were last passed in 1864 wild west America. That's nuts. And those laws are absolutely not supported by a majority of Americans.'

Let's examine this single paragraph by the Village Idiot.

1) an Arizona law is not passing laws from 1864 all over the country. Strike 1

2) it's not nuts, it's the law, and if the voters don't like like it, vote to change it. Also, the constitution was ratified in 1789. Is it nuts we still.follow it? Strike 2

3) for this sentence, see above. Vote to change the laws. Strike 3, you're out.

Guys. The answer is obamacare as originally passed. That was 100% dems.

Nope. Repubelickens killed it.

The left: let's find a worthless cuck senator from the GOP and write up a "bipartisan" border bill we know every real republican is going to hate so that we can claim the republicans shot it down.

Dude, that border bill was a piece of shit that still let 1.7M illegals in a year + an unlimited number of Haitians (literally the worst country on Earth).

Can you acknowledge with a wink or something that you know this is what happened so you can at least give us some respect while trying to gaslight us?

None will be free until all are free.

Seems like we all got a little too used to military interventions post 9-11

Freedom is an elusive thing it seems
Serious fact though -- when i have lucid dreams -- EVERY SINGLE TIME - i try to get naked & fly OR express horniness

And that feels kind of free -

And I'm finding it very difficult to have faith in any aspect of our government or the international alternatives etc -

So hopefully we just find a way to address the right questions for this nation

It seems frighteningly obvious that there are giant gaps where certain conversations need to be happening about how you keep the nation economically viable and right size our footprint on the planet to something -- less empire ish

I never really watch television news but im staying at moms this weekend and brother watched a news outlet for a while

just finished a late night smoke break here
I have a feeling i am possibly approaching rambling and mental drift.

I hadn't looked at news for almost 2 mnths - until today BTW - not sure that was very useful

Make America 1864 Again....

Village Idiot, you prove my point.

We are a representative government.

If the vast majority, as you claim, disagree, change it at the ballot box, you lunatic.

Quit wailing like a third grader.

Excellent idea, and, surely you agree that the same should apply to the Ukraine?
Different dynamic. Ukraine are the less powerful locals defending against imperialist aggression in that one. Obviously our involvement shouldn't involve lives over there, for a number of reasons, but if they ask for aid in finance and materiel we should definitely be considering it. Not often the left supports a war effort, but also not often there's a nakedly expansionist war in the post-WW2 era.

Americans are inarguably looking inward these days. Probably unavoidably following decades of foreign policy blunders and domestic economic concerns. We've provided overwatch to basically the entire world since Bretton Woods, guaranteeing violence free shipping and assuring small nations the security that they won't gobbled up by their larger expansionist neighbors. If we abdicate that role it will go unfilled as no other country/empire has the capabilities to maintain it. The world will revert to imperial spheres of influence, like keeping supply chains in-house. And with America always wanting her sphere of influence to be the Americas, military interventions could go up in that world, not down, just in Central and South America rather than the ME, Africa, and Asia(and of course Latin America as well, not like they're exempt now, just talking volume). The rumblings exist in our discourse now, if you know where to look you can find communities pitching intervening in Mexico against the cartels today.

When they got rid of McCarthy, I thought, at least he can’t be replaced with someone who will be as bad as him.

Little did I know his replacement would get into the seat and become infinitely worse.

If I asked someone to write a list of the top policies for someone who hates America but loves big government, it would read like a checklist of Johnson’s legislative priorities.

Freedom of speech buddy.
Americans across the nation are very unhappy with these Civil War era abortion laws. It will be corrected by the sane majority over time. You'll see come November in the swing states.

I'm done.

"Prominent right-wing commentator Candace Owens has left the Daily Wire, the website founded by conservative commentator Ben Shapiro, after months of promoting antisemitic ideas."

".... Owens began to use her Daily Wire platform to promote antisemitismclaiming this month on her show that “secret Jewish gangs” terrorize Hollywood — and recently favorited a tweet repeating a lie about Jews drinking Christians’ blood. She has also clashed publicly with the avowedly pro-Israel Shapiro by criticizing the nation in the wake of the Oct. 7 attacks."

All MAGA is good for is b!tching since they can't elected anyone & don't have the balls to shut the government down since they'd really get killed then & they know it. Well, maybe not some here.
